Shadow & Bruno are looking for a FOSTER or ADOPTER ASAP!
Unfortunately at no fault of their own these sweet boys find themselves in need of a foster or adopter.
If you’d like to help them, we have an application process including a home visit. We provide everything you need including food, veterinary care, and any necessities these boys should require.
We do limit our foster homes to within one hour of our south Jersey area to make the vet visits and other trips easier.

Lucy sounds like an amazing senior lab with a heart full of love to give. She is 90 lbs and 11 years old. It's unfortunate that she ended up in a shelter, but it's wonderful to hear that she has a friendly and loving personality that makes everyone want to pet her. Her experience living with small dogs and her being housebroken are great qualities that can make her a wonderful addition to a loving home.
Lucys constant wagging tail is a sign of her happiness and excitement, and it's clear that she enjoys being around people. It's heartwarming to know that volunteers at the shelter love her – that speaks volumes about her friendly and lovable nature. Lucy has age related arthritis that is managed with anti inflammatory meds. No small children as we do not know her history.
Senior dogs like Lucy can make fantastic companions. They often have a calm and gentle demeanor, and they appreciate the comfort of an orthopedic bed as they age. If you're considering adopting a dog, Lucy might be a great choice. She has the love and companionship to offer, and she deserves a loving forever home where she can live out her golden years in comfort and happiness.

She is an adorable and super sweet 8-9 year old maltese who loves everyone!
Snow has diabetes, which we have perfectly under control with injections twice a day, given when she eats, and she tolerates her injections very well!
She is vision impaired but gets around well... most people who meet her don't believe she's blind!
She is happy, spunky, silly, and the sweetest little girl!

‼️Update 5/5:‼️ This is the update you’ve all been waiting for! Hershey has left the building!!! Thank you all for the tremendous outpouring of support for him. We are so happy that we could find him an amazing home.
That being said- PLEASE… everyone looking to adopt Hershey.. the shelter is FULL of “Hershey’s” that are waiting and waiting for forever homes. They aren’t all purebred chocolate labs, but maybe consider taking an underdog into your homes. They deserve love too. ❤️

He is heartbreaking at night when staff is leaving for the night; he howls because he doesn’t want to be left alone. 💔
Hershey doesn’t ask for much, a comfy bed and a yard to run around in. He would be best in a low key home with an adult family he can give all his love to. Because of a bad past experience, he would be most comfortable as the only pet in his new home. Hershey is only 5 years old and is ready for a stable life where he can finally settle in.

Piggy is still looking for a home. He’s a sweet, pot bellied pig. He loves people and he’s great with other animals. He definitely needs a home with a yard as he loves to sniffle around and explore. Please make sure that piggies are allowed in your township before applying! He’s about 3-4 months old and will grow to about 170-200lb (pig people- DO NOT COME FOR ME. Elmo wishes every day someone will come and adopt him. He is such a good houseguest he gets to hang out in our kennel manager’s office instead of in a kennel, but nothing can replace living in a home. Elmo loves his people; he is super snuggly and will likely claim a spot on your couch to curl up and binge Netflix with you. He is potty trained and loves to play with his toys and go for walks.
Elmo has been with us for a few months now, and he is definitely ready to get out of here ASAP. He would prefer to be your only pet so he can get all your attention to himself. We think Elmo would even do well with some dog-savvy kids, preferably older ones since he can get a little over zealous with his love.
Please stop by the shelter and ask to meet our resident redhead. He’ll be waiting! ❤️

UPDATE 12/3: We’d like to first thank each and every person who shared, commented, and liked this post to get the word out about our favorite little fairy Tink. Without your help she would still be sitting unnoticed in her kennel. We are very happy to announce that she has an approved application, and will be getting adopted on Tuesday. ❤️

As the shelter closes for the night, Tinkerbell gets comfy in her kennel, wondering why she keeps getting overlooked day after day. This beautiful girl has been with us for months, and she is getting tired of shelter life. We can say we don’t know why she’s still with us, but it’s clear it’s because she is deaf. Tink doesn’t know any different, and we don’t treat her any different. We know someone out there can look past that and see her for the awesome dog she is. Please ask to meet Tinkerbell, because nobody does. 🧚
