This guy is Foghorn from Fulton County Animal Services He’s been my foster dog for three weeks now—he’s settled in after a quiet decompression period, and is ready to get out there to find his forever home.
Foggy is a very handsome guy, I’m guessing he’s part shepherd, lanky with beautiful markings. He’s right around a year old, and still has plenty of puppy goofiness about him. He’s a sweet sweet boy who would love to be someone’s best bud.
He loves going for walks—tho can be a little fearful of loud noises and cars. We’ve been working hard on leash skills and building his confidence around new experiences.
He looooooves having another dog to play with and will make a great brother for another playful pup, though he’d likely do fine solo. He’s been very respectful of my dogs, and seems really adaptable to different size dogs, and different play styles. I’m still not sure about cats—he’s very interested in mine, so we’re going slowly with that process.
So far he’s been good about sleeping through the night. He’s fully potty trained, and will let you know if he needs to go out. He’s also good about entertaining himself with a toy if he needs to get out some energy. He loves Chuck It balls and wrestling with my girl, Boogie.
I’m loving getting to know Foghorn, and grateful for the opportunity to show him that he’s loved and safe. Here’s hoping we can find him a home that’s just as wonderful as he is. Please share my dude far and wide ❤️
