We will be working with Esperanza to produce a lovely equine ready to go to work for her potential a Esperanza is a black and white 2 year old pinto filly.

She was known as “the sled filly” who came to MHAR December 2012 as part of a humane case. She was so weak she couldn’t stand and had to be pulled from the trailer to the clinic in a sled. “Essie” has had one eye removed. She "competed" in the “Diamond in the Rough” Small/Young Equine Competition through Truhaven Ranch October 2014. She did AMAZING! We brought home a first, second, and a third. Sh

e placed 3rd over-all, and was voted as People's Choice. We will be working with Esperanza to produce a lovely equine ready to go to work for her potential adopters. We have named our team of novice “trainers” the “Wrisky Ranch Wranglers”. Esperanza =Hope! About 2 weeks after the Competition we decided to adopt Little Miss and give her a forever home. She deserves it!

Today was spa day for my Peanut. I roached her mane last summer and loved it! My only regret was waiting until so late in the season to do it. Her mane is insanely thick! So I decided last year that I’d do earlier this year. I want it to have time to grow back by winter to provide warmth.
I also had more work done on my Essie tattoo ❤️❤️❤️ Kristina Geister is an amazing artist. I absolutely love the work she does.

Essie’s new combo rainsheet and combo midweight blanket came yesterday. Love this color! She also got a haircut today. Of course I had to include a photo of her boyfriend Llary Llama.

Little Miss Essie seems to have decided Llary Llama is her new bff. Llary however oscillated between ears forward and ears back- so seemed a little undecided. Essie was even nickering to him. When I went to turn her out, she kept stopping and looking back at him, and he started to follow us. After I put her away, she called to him. When he was taken back to his pen, Essie saw him and ran to her gate and called to him again. My sweet mare never ceases to amaze me❤️
