Happy Birthday to Jimmy, the Heart of Our Sit Means Sit Family! 🩷

Today we celebrate Jimmy, the incredible owner and founder of our Sit Means Sit location. Jimmy brought the very first Sit Means Sit to Tennessee, and through his hard work and dedication, expanded and partnered with his amazing daughter to open our location.

Jimmy’s passion for dogs runs deep, and his love for them is at the core of everything we do here. He’s not only a phenomenal dog trainer but also the foundation of our team, teaching us all the skills and knowledge that make this facility thrive. His energy and presence light up our days (even when he’s caught “sampling” the snacks his team brings in) 😉.

Jimmy, thank you for all that you do—for the dogs, the clients, and every one of us here. You’re truly one of a kind, and we’re so lucky to have you leading the pack.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Tea, our beloved demo dog of 13 years. Surrounded by those who loved her, Tea left us today, and the loss is beyond words.

Tea was truly one of a kind. She played a vital role in helping us build our very first Sit Means Sit franchise and was the foundation of everything we’ve become. Her impact on our lives, our business, and so many of you is immeasurable, and we are completely heartbroken by her unexpected passing.

For those who know us, our dogs are not just part of our team; they are family. Tea was the heart of our family, both at home and within our company. She brought joy to so many lives and lived a fuller, more meaningful life than many can dream of.

Tea loved playing fetch, swimming, snuggling on the couch, and most of all, “going to work.” We are endlessly grateful for the time we had with her and the lives she touched.

If you had the pleasure of meeting Tea or have a special memory of her, we would love for you to share it with us. Her spirit will live on through all the joy she brought to so many.

We are heartbroken by this loss today so we ask for patience as we gather our bearings. Thank you 🩷
