Well folks, we have it happening! It’s finally going down! Some of you’ve been waiting three years for this breeding.

MMB’s Potion of Courage (Aka Courage) ❌ MMB’s Battle Star (aka Star) (This is a heavy greyline breeding, some blueline). These are XL height, classic body build.

These two virgins couldn’t figure it out 😂 so we did an AI yesterday and will bring another today! Hit me up 🤙🏽

Well we have Courage ❌ Star breeding that went down yesterday. They are both virgins and had a bit of a hard time so we did an insemination and we will be doing another tonight!!

One thing that always sucks as a breeder is hopes and plans that fall thru. Keeping a pup that you hope turns out to be a fine specimen for breeding and then getting close to that puppy as it becomes an adult then having to weigh out decisions being minimally emotional (when you do indeed feel so much emotion for one of your productions). Truth is, at the end of the day not every dog should pass on its genes. Sometimes those dogs are our keepers. And it hurts when reality comes knocking and you know it’s just time to find the dog a permanent couch home because it didn’t turn out with what you needed to keep bettering the breed. It’s never easy to let go of a pup or an adult dog.

You always wonder: “How will this turn out? Will he be safe, will he be loved? Or will he be stolen, hit by a car, or just simply given up on??”

Many could argue over rehoming a dog a beeeder thought they would once keep but at the end of the day, the greater good is what matters. We are not giving up on these adult dogs that need to be rehomed. We are not tossing them to the side. Every time one leaves my home and gets in the car with a stranger, I worry. These are the realities we breeders live with.

We are now incorporating “BLOCK [me]” or “COVER”

We went from unconsciously incompetent, to consciously incompetent, to the next and very important stage consciously competent. The next stage and stage of “perfection” is the unconsciously competent stage. All non-verbal This pup is 9 months and this is 5 days of 15-20 min training sessions #tacticaldog #tacticaltraining #canine

We also started working on using the word “TWEEN” for holding position in a kneel (while aiming your weapon) or retrieving ammo from the canine’s tactical vest. Once she has this down we will incorporate the blocking/cover position.

Today we are making progress without using the command “TWEEN” just body language ready. This walk between is good for off leash walking when you want your dog close by, or when there are crowds. This is also a tactical maneuver; also great for working dogs doing crowd control if you are advancing on a crowd and need canine backup to push the crowd back.
