Update: he got his family!

Happy Father’s Day! We hope it’s a great day! If you hoped for a pup, you are in luck! This male tricolor has become available. Sometimes people plan months ahead for pups, and sometimes life happens to change plans so carefully laid out and he couldn’t join them. So this pup is meant for someone out there that needs a buddy. This sweet blue tri girl has become available. The family that reserved her has some medical issues to overcome before a pup can join them. So, someone out there must need this baby beagle. She is a few days over 8 weeks and can go home now ! She won’t last long, so if it’s you that she was meant to be with, don’t wait :)

We have some interesting noses in Bella and Mojo’s litter. The pink patches on their noses are called “butterfly “ coloring. Sometimes they grow out of their butterflies as their pigment develops. One of these pups exhibits is a perfect butterfly, thus lending the name to this marking. Introducing Mojo Jojo, our newest sire (the chocolate ). Shout out to Twin Oaks Kennel making gorgeous beagles and sharing their combined 100 + years of beagle experience. Caitlin, (my daughter shown in the picture ) has started the goal of producing red tick beagles. As with our goal of creating healthy blue and lilac beagles, it takes years, sometimes 3 or 4 generations, to develop the line. The story has begun and when we achieve it, we will have the rainbow of beagle colors 🎉

It began with a dream...

My husband, Barry, was very sick and in the hospital for 6 months. He doesn’t remember most of it, I do. He very nearly died on several occasions, had 7 major surgeries and was attended by an amazing team at Duke Hospital in North Carolina. He finally overcame many of the brain trauma complications and on his hospital bed he said he always dreamed of having a blue tick beagle and if he made it he would like to have one. So, I began my search, which wasn’t easy. I couldn’t find one close enough to get it and take care of him. But I found a beautiful tri-color his last day in the hospital and he and I fell in love with tiny Shyanne. Months later we got on a waiting list for a blue tick puppy, Smokey Blue, and waited a year for this very special blue tick beagle. Once we picked him up, we knew we had to share these special beagles with everyone. Then Shyanne had her first litter in spring of 2018, and the rest is history. Life is better with a beagle. :)
