We had a great time at the Polaris Anniversary event and Parade. There was so much going on today! Brent the brown dog was kind enough to pilot the float while we waved to the crowd!

It was a hairy day in the Roseau location today. We were so happy to give this pup a deshedding makeover. His owner was so happy and amazed at the hair that was removed especially with warmer temps coming. (No, he was not shaved down) Our jazzy thought she was getting a new fluffy bed!
Come on in and use the self wash and use the same products our pet wash professionals do or make an appointment and we will do it for you! Our full service baths are by appointment and available in both Roseau and Baudette locations.

We had a great time at the Roseau parade today. There were so many amazing entries! Wow what a great time and we were all so happy to participate! We will definitely bring more candy and giveaways next year!

It’s fair week in Baudette and we have an amazing give away that you won’t want to miss!

FYI RECALL ALERT: PEDIGREE DOG FOOD. We DO NOT sell this brand. but we want to alert pet owners that do.
When there is a recall it is always a good idea to check the lot numbers to make sure what you are feeding is not affected. Recalls can expand to a wider distribution area so keeping informed if this is what you feed is advised.
If you would like advice on healthy pet food choices we are available to help. We carry a variety of pet food brands so there is a great fit for every pet owner.

Metal pieces can end up in a dog food bag due to equipment malfunctions or wear and tear in the manufacturing process.

Mars Petcare US recalled 315 bags of PEDIGREE Adult Complete Nutrition Grilled Steak & Vegetable Flavor Dry Dog Food in the 44 lb. bag size, due to the potential presence of loose metal pieces in the bag, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The recalled pet food products have a Best-by Date of March 4, 2025 and Lot Code 410B2TXT02. This is a limited voluntary recall only affecting 315 bags of product sold by Walmart in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

The potential presence of loose metal pieces in the bag could pose a health hazard to pets. There have been no reports of pet injury or illness regarding the potentially impacted product.

Metal pieces can end up in a dog food bag due to equipment malfunctions or wear and tear in the manufacturing process. Faulty machinery or loose parts from processing equipment can lead to contamination. Implementing regular maintenance and rigorous quality control checks can help mitigate this risk,

No other PEDIGREE or Mars Petcare US products are affected or being recalled. Mars Petcare US is working with Walmart in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas to ensure that the affected products are no longer sold and have been removed from inventory.

Even a nasty snow/ice storm couldn't keep Santa Paws and his elves from visiting the store for the annual Pictures with Santa fundraising event for Lake of the Woods Humane Society. Santa thought they all were the cutest pups and so well behaved too.
Here are some of the paw-some pups and their loving owners that are for sure on Santa's "NICE" list this year.
A huge thank you to Teri Larson Photography that captured all the cuteness, donating her time and expertise to this charity benefit.
All donations and monies raised were donated to Lake of the Woods Humane Society in Baudette, MN and the animals they help.
Thank you to everyone that came out and supported this wonderful event in both the Roseau and Baudette locations.

Thank you Roseau for coming out for Santa Paws-Pictures with Santa 2023! Each year we look forward to this special fundraising event for Lake of the Woods Humane Society and the animals that need our help and compassion.
