Fun follow up session this morning with the adorable Havanese, Ollie. Met this adorable boy about a year ago… and his owners just wanted a refresher on how to disagree with some behavioral issues. By going back to original methods and treating Ollie like a dog (and not a child)… he proved that he is in fact a VERY good boy! 😊🐾😊

Sending out a warm Paws n’Think welcome to this morning’s new client, Wynnie. This adorable doodle is incredibly smart and catches on quickly. She appreciates authority and strong leadership. Her owners needed a little help with excessive barking and teaching her to get in the car on her own. Super fun session!! ❤️🐾❤️

Sending out a warm Paws n’Think welcome to this morning’s new client, Harley. This beautiful girl was adopted by an amazing family with a fabulous yard. As she’s settled in, she’s developed “selective hearing” when it comes time to come inside. By incorporating new tools and increased leadership, she’ll be able to enjoy her space without being on a tie out. Fun session!!! 🐾

He’s been through extensive training elsewhere but his owner wanted some help with a few issues at home. Tyson is smart and eager to learn… and he appreciates confident leadersship.

By changing the leadership dynamic and incorporating new tools, we saw an instant change in this intelligent girl. Walks and time in the backyard will be more enjoyable now. ❤️

Sending out a warm Paws n’Think welcome to this morning’s new clients, Bella and Bukie. (Both are Alaskan Klee Kai). Bukie is overly protective and Bella is incredibly anxious. By teaching the family to communicate in ways that the dogs understand, they’ll be able to help them both relax. Really fun session with an incredible family! 🐾❤️🐾

Sending out a warm (kind of) Paws n’Think welcome to this morning’s new client, Zenith. This little Sh*tzhu mix ranks in my top 3 for most aggressive. 😳. His owners have empowered Zenith and he protects his people and home fiercely. They will need to show strong leadership to take that role away from him. I was able to make a little progress with him and teach them the psychology behind his mind set… but this one is a “to be continued” which is rare for me!

Both of my dogs got sprayed by a skunk this morning. I highly recommend having a bottle of this shampoo on hand. Works really well! 🦨

Her owners just needed a little help getting her to listen in tne back yard and when there are distractions. She’s smart… but has a stubborn streak. Consistency will be key! 🐾

Sending out a warm Paws n’ Think welcome to this morning’s new clients, Sean and Dutch. Dutch is on his 5th home and his new owner is dedicated to giving him a happy life. By teaching his owner to calmly communicate what’s expected and to not reward Dutch’s anxiety, we saw an instant change. The neighbors even came out to comment!!!

Sending out a warm Paws ’ Think welcome to this afternoon’s new client, Theo. This cute little Goldendoodle has had quite a bit of training but has some quirks. By teaching his owners to show more authority, they will be able to curb his escalation to showing aggression to get his way. Stricter boundaries and rules will be important.. as well as showing affection at the right time.

This stunning Doberman is learning some bad habits from his older “sister” so we ended up working with both of them. Quiet authority is key…. and they were both eager to learn new rules when greeting guests and on leash. Excited to hear about their progress!

Sending out a warm Paws n‘ Think welcome to this morning’s 2nd client, Orlando. This adorable “Chorkie” has 1st time owners that love him a little “too” much! So much so that they’ve altered their lives because they don’t want to leave him home alone. We talked about structure, boundaries, crating, discipline, and allowing him to be a dog. If they follow through, all of them will be significantly happier!

Fun follow up session with this handsome fella this morning. I met Sarge over a year ago and his mom wanted a refresher course due to some changes in the household. Everyone in the family needs to communicate the same structure or dogs get confused. Sarge proved that he remembered what he learned initially!

This adorable cockapoo has senior owners that filled out 16 applications to adopt an older dog….but were turned down due to their age (despite their beautiful home and fenced yard). They brought this youngster into their lives and needed a little help with his excess energy. Milo is incredibly smart and eager to learn. Such a fun session!

We frequently watch client dogs…. and pretty much have joint custody of this guy. His owner has him on a diet… and he’s NOT happy about it!!! 😂🐾😂

We’ve had a visitor at the house for a week and told him that his owners are on the way to pick him up. Sunday morning giggle! 🐶😊🐾

I posted this video on my personal page but I want to share it with my clients as well. Ronan is trying to engage a visiting Sh*tzu that hasn't socialized much to play. Watch his eyes and mannerisms... especially when he turns and looks back trying to draw her into the game. Communication!!!!! ❤️🐾❤️

These 2 were scared of steps when they arrived Sunday night. Mission accomplished! 😊

Well...well...well.... What a difference a day makes! Chico has decided he likes it here! ❤️🐶❤️
