We believe that the training journey should not just include you, but you should be included in the board and train journey. We have had a blast implementing new ways to communicate with clients throughout the process.

After all, you should get an education while your dog is. We’ve found that when we train you alongside a board and train, you have more clarity, comprehension and practical application.

We are replying to all the submission emails, phone calls and text as quickly as possible as to set up consults. Thank you for your continued patience.

We are taking a select few clients at this time and cannot wait to start training again. We appreciate all the well wishes and sweet words; we are doing great and enjoying every minute of the new addition.

We are reaching out steadily throughout this week to schedule for the remainder of summer into fall. We also will be offering new services so stay tuned.

With Baby coming right around the corner, we have filled all possible spots until our delivery. We are so excited to continue after we spend the precious time with our new family addition.

We will be at Joplin’s Third Thursday event for the next 3 months!

We will have dogs, dogs and more dogs, the world’s best intern, somewhat funny jokes, info and funky activities.

LYD will have merch! All merch will be ‘sold’ on a donation basis. We feel like it is our duty to give back when we can. Along with donating some training, we felt that we must help our fellow humans as well.

Every dog enjoys structure and exploration, regardless of size. Encouraging owners to utilize off leash capability and recall skills is our favorite thing. Hooray for dogs being dogs!

Recall is our absolute favorite. Recall includes exercise, fresh air, adventure, enrichment and of course, the outdoors.
_
We go through a discussion when you start recall training about your dog and their environment. What’s new? What’s old? What’s boring and what is novel?
_
In a world where saving time, busy schedules, convenience and quick fixes are in demand, recall allows us to take a step back and enjoy the beauty of our dog and our relationship with them.
_
Recall doesn’t always show immediate speedy results, but when it does, you typically can get the best stills from the video of your dog running.

Training recall and off leash reliability means freedom. Here at LYD, despite the rain and mud, we’ve been determined to get the dogs the outdoor time they truly need.
_
We have some dogs in progress and some wrapping up, but at any level we see an eagerness to run, explore and return.
_
Obedience doesn’t have to be sterile or monotonous. Exercise doesn’t have to be limited to walks. Communication doesn’t have to be through a leash at all times.
_
Many behavior issues can be worked through with exercise, allowing our obedience to be more effective and practical, as well as kind to our schedules.
