Montana and Duke are breeding this week. Both parents are cream colored. Duke is a little over 90 pounds, Montana is around 60 pounds. Rather than show a picture or video of them breeding, I thought it better to show Montana with her last litter of cream AKC Golden Retriever Puppies out of Duke from January of this year.

With them breeding this week, we expect they will be born around the end of September and be ready to go to their forever homes around Thanksgiving.

Montana and Duke show all clear in their DNA testing on Animal Genetics Golden Retriever Disorder panel. It is rare to have two dogs all clear and barring a mutation, their puppies should be all clear as well. We also check both parents' hips and elbows and submit them to OFA for grading. Montana's hips are rated excellent, Duke's hips are rated Good. Both have elbows rated Normal which is the only positive rating from OFA on Elbows as I understand their grading system.

In addition to some very good health characteristics, both parents have championship pedigrees per k9data.com.

We are taking reservations for puppies. A $250 deposit will reserve a puppy of your chosen gender. We will invite you out once they are four weeks of age to choose the puppy you want to take home a few weeks later. We try to let you pick in the order of deposits received. Once you pick a specific puppy, we ask you to increase your deposit to a total of $750. The balance of $1500 is due on pickup for a total of $2,250.

For more information, please call Steve at 940-736-0150.

This is Reagan & Duke’s last girl AKC Golden Retriever puppy on our walk today, checking out the cows and horses on our ranch. I have a deposit on her and she is supposed to leave Saturday. Assuming that happens we are sold out and do not expect any more puppies until late this year.

She is about 11 weeks old and 20 pounds. She has a green collar. I have nicknamed her Vegas since I named her older sisters Reno & Tahoe. I went with Vegas since she looks to be a desert sand color. She will probably have a new name this weekend.

This will be Reagan’s last litter although we have multiple daughters out of her. Duke will continue to be our stud. All parents that we breed go through our health-screening process which includes x-rays of their hips and elbows submitted to OFA.org for certificates showing they are free of dysplasia which causes lameness. We also test the parent’s DNA using a Golden Retriever Disorder panel and can share their results with prospective buyers.

Our parents have championship pedigrees. Our puppies go to our vet at least 2-3 times for brief exams, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming at 4, 6, and 9 weeks if they are still here.

If you are interested in a future litter, we can take deposits of $250 to hold you a spot. Otherwise, please like our page and you should see our announcements when we have new litters later this year.

We had two of Reagan & Duke’s AKC Golden Retriever boys leave Sunday and Monday. That leaves one girl pictured without people in some of the photos below. The darker boy now called Blessings went to the Rosario family in Keller. Luke, the lighter colored boy with the orange collar went to the Alvarez family in Bedford. They may be close enough for a reunion through our private Facebook group for owners. Blessings will be back with us in July while his family goes on an Alaska cruise. I think this is the second time we took care of one of our puppies while the family was on a cruise. The last time it was Justice, now in Corinth.

We still have one girl left. It is going to be hard to let her go. This is her Mom’s last litter. She is pictured in the photos I took last night without people. She looks to be fairly light colored, probably beige. She is lighter colored than both boys, at least in the ears which can be the best indicator of how dark they may eventually get. She has been to our vet three times for brief exams, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming. She is also on NexGuard for flea prevention.

Both parents go through our health screening process before we breed them. This includes x-rays of hips and elbows that we submit to OFA.org for certificates that they are free of hip and elbow dysplasia which can cause early lameness. We also test the parent’s DNA against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel.

Susan came out yesterday to check out our two remaining girl AKC Golden Retriever puppies. She had a great time and picked the one with the yellow collar. As you can see by the video, the two sisters out of Reagan and Duke look almost identical. We have one girl and two boys left out of Reagan. There are photos and videos of the boys in other posts. After that, it may be eight months or more before we have puppies as we are trying not to breed puppies during the hot summer.

Reagan and Duke have championship pedigrees per k9data.com. We health screen the parents because we have bought inexpensive puppies from un-screened parents in the past. Our experiences with that approach resulted in early lameness and some large, surprise vet bills for surgeries that were more than $1,000 each. The dogs were just as sweet but they did not live healthy pain free lives.

We x-ray the parents hips & elbows and submit to OFA.org for review and certificates that they are free of dysplasia which causes early lameness. We also test the parent’s DNA against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel which identifies several gene markers that lead to early blindness and other disorders.

Our puppies go to our vet at 4, 6 & 9 weeks of age for brief exams, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming. We also started each puppy on NexGuard for flea prevention on April 1st, once they were old enough. Each puppy goes home with a copy of their vet records.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, on I-35, about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth. Please call Steve at 940-736-0150 to make an appointment or for more information.

Susan called me today and we quickly made an appointment for this afternoon. She was interested in a girl AKC Golden Retriever puppy. She picked Reagan’s girl with the yellow collar who was my favorite out of that litter. She is going to call her Millie. With Millie leaving we are down to our last girl out of Reagan who looks almost identical to Millie. At one time we had thirteen girls out of three litters. We are now down to one girl out of Reagan and Duke. We have two boys left out of that litter too, one similar to Millie’s color and one darker. Once these are gone, we do not expect any more puppies until late this year.

Millie went on her first walk today on our ranch. She did great once she got the hang of it and went about 20 minutes. Millie and her siblings were ten weeks old today.

Our puppies have been to our vet three times for age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and brief exams. We also started them on NexGuard April 1st.

Our puppies come from parents with championship pedigrees per k9data.com. We health screen all parents and only breed the ones that pass. That includes OFA.org review and certification that their hips and elbows are free of dysplasia. We also do DNA testing against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel. We do this because we bought inexpensive puppies in the past from un-screened parents. The results were some large surprise vet bills and early lameness.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth on I-35. Please call Steve at 940-736-0150 for more information or to make an appointment.

The Youngs came out yesterday with their young girls to pick a boy puppy from the three we had left. They had a great time. They ended up picking Montana’s last cream boy they are calling George or Georgie. We still have the two darker boys in the video out of Reagan & Duke. One of Reagan’s girls left today so we are down to one Reagan girl left. We are now sold out of Star and Montana’s litters. It will probably be the end of the year before we have more puppies as we decided to take the summer off and avoid the heat.

Reagan’s three remaining puppies are ten weeks old today. The remaining girl looks similar to the lighter Reagan boy in this video, maybe a little lighter and a couple pounds smaller. All puppies have been to our vet three times for age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and brief exams. We also started them on NexGuard flea treatment on April 1, once they were old enough.

Reagan is in this video and weighs in the low 70s. Duke, the father is cream colored and weighs about 90 pounds. Most of Reagan’s puppies are beige in color with the exception of the darker boy that is close to her color. We only breed dogs that have been through our health-screening process. That includes x-rays of their hips and elbows and certificates from OFA.org that they are free of dysplasia which causes early lameness. We also test the parent’s DNA against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel to lessen the chance that we breed parents with known health issues they would pass onto their puppies.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX on I-35 about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth. Please call Steve at 940-736-0150 to schedule a visit or for more information. We had 26 puppies out of three litters and are down to three. I do not expect the last three will be around much longer.

Here are Reagan and Duke’s remaining AKC Golden Retriever Puppies at their nine week checkup at our vet yesterday. They are loving and playful. This was their third visit. They get age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and a brief exam. They are also on NexGuard for flea prevention as of this week.

We have two boys and two girls left out of Reagan. We also have a cream boy out of Montana that is a little older but about the same size as Montana is a smaller dog than Reagan.

Our parents have championship pedigrees per k9data.com. We only breed health screened parents. Our parents have had their hips and elbows x-rayed and reviewed by OFA.org to show they are free of dysplasia which can cause early lameness. We also test the parent’s DNA against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth on I-35. Please call Steve at 940-736-0150 to schedule a visit or for more information.

Cody & Jennifer came out Tuesday to pick a girl AKC Golden Retriever Puppy. They chose Montana & Duke’s last girl. Their timing was excellent as two other families tried to get her between the time they made the appointment and were able to come out, in part due to the weather. We also made a video of their visit with our two remaining girl puppies that we recently posted. The second and third photo show Bella Rose at her new home watching TV. Jennifer tells me she had a “wonderful night.”

We look forward to seeing more videos and photos of Bella Rose as she grows up. One thing we do not talk about much is our private Facebook Group for our puppy owners. They share posts about their pups and schedule reunions and play dates between litter mates. There was a reunion a few weeks ago in Arlington with Mia’s puppies that left last December. They also plan birthday parties. The puppies seem to remember each other when they get back together.

We have two AKC Golden Retriever girls left out of Reagan that are beige colored. We also have Montana’s last cream boy and two of Reagan’s boys, one beige or blonde and one may be golden or red colored. See other posts for their photos.

All of our parents have championship pedigrees per k9data.com. We health screen our parents before we breed them to try to lessen the chance of breeding easily detected health defects into the puppies. This includes x-rays of their hips and elbows that are reviewed by OFA.org and a test of their DNA against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel.

We take the puppies to our vet at 4, 6, & 9 weeks of age for age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and brief exams. We also start them on NexGuard flea prevention once they are old enough. We do a lot of flea prevention before that as well with the parents and spraying the areas the puppies will spend time in.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, about an hour north of Dallas & Fort Worth on I-35.

Please call Steve at 940-736-0150 for more information and to schedule a visit with our five remaining puppies. I am confident you will find a loving puppy you will want to adopt.

This video is from Cody & Jennifer visiting our AKC Golden Retriever Puppy Heaven Tuesday to pick out a girl. They chose Montana’s last girl with the orange collar. The other two girls in the video are Reagan & Duke’s two remaining girls that will be nine weeks old this Friday. As you can see they love people and are fun to play with. Reagan’s two girls are the last girls we will have until Fall or Winter. We are taking the summer off as the puppies do not like the heat.

Both parents have championship pedigrees. We health screen all parents before breeding them. This includes submitting x-rays of their hips and elbows to OFA.org for certificates they are free of dysplasia. We also test the parent’s DNA against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel. We do this because we have bought inexpensive puppies in the past from breeders who did not do the testing we do. As a result we got lame dogs and some large, surprise vet bills.

We take the puppies to our vet for age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and brief exams at 4, 6, & 9 weeks of age. We have also put all of these puppies on NexGuard flea preventative now that they are old enough for it at eight weeks of age.

We also have three boys of similar colors available, not in this video. There are separate photo posts of the available boys.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth on I-35.

Please call Steve at 940-736-0150 to schedule a visit and for more information.

This is a photo of Montana & Duke’s last cream colored AKC Golden Retriever boy along with Reagan & Duke’s golden colored boy. The latter boy did not want to be left out and volunteered to help here. I think Montana’s boy may be a little lonely as his last sibling left yesterday. He is almost 11 weeks old, the darker boy is almost 9 weeks old. The cream mother is a smaller dog and had a larger litter which is probably why they seem similar in size.

We have sold ten puppies in the last 12 days so they have been going fast. The cream boy's mother Montana is a white cream color and weighs about 60 pounds. His father Duke is cream colored with a little color and about 90 pounds.

Both parents have championship pedigrees and have passed our health screening process. That includes X-rays of their hips and elbows and certificates that they show to be free of dysplasia from OFA.org. We also test each parent’s DNA using a Golden Retriever Disorder panel. We do this testing to try and lessen the chance of our puppies being bred by parents with known or easily discoverable health issues. We have bought inexpensive golden retrievers when we were younger and ended up with large surprise vet bills and or lameness when we bought from breeders who did not test their parent dogs.

We take our puppies to our vet for age-appropriate vaccinations at 4, 6, & 9 weeks of age. They are also dewormed and undergo a brief exam. We started them on NexGuard this week as a 30-day flea preventative.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth on I-35.

These are Reagan & Duke’s two remaining AKC Golden Retriever Boys.

They will be nine weeks old this Friday. We have sold ten puppies in the last 12 days so they have been going fast. The boy on the right looks to be golden or almost red in color and seems to have an extra outgoing personality. I expect the one on the left to be beige or a beige/creme blend. Their mother Reagan is a traditional golden, almost red color, a little over 70 pounds. Their father Duke is cream colored with a little color and about 90 pounds. We often get a range of colors and blends when we breed color to cream.

Both puppies are loving, playful puppies.

The girl with the green collar is on the left and the girl with the yellow collar is on the right. The one with the yellow collar seems to have a more petite face so far. I expect both to be beige or a beige/creme blend. Their mother Reagan is a traditional golden, almost red color, a little over 70 pounds. Their father Duke is cream colored with a little color and about 90 pounds. We often get a range of colors and blends when we breed color to cream.

Both puppies are loving, playful puppies. I’ll try to post a video of them playing with a customer separately yesterday. That customer was set on a cream puppy, actually we had three families wanting her when we got down to the last one, so do not wait too long.

Both parents have championship pedigrees and have passed our health screening process. The Anderson family from Lucas, TX came out Friday and chose Montana’s girl with her Light Purple collar. She was on of the larger puppies in Montana’s litter. Her sister with her Orange collar left tonight for Royce City and her sister Lilly Belle is in Rowlette, TX. I suspect there may be a reunion coming among the three, maybe more.

I received some pictures of Luna and their older dog and family. She seems to be fitting in well. Some feedback: “ She’s wonderful. She’s seriously the best puppy. … She enjoyed Easter egg hunts and church festivals, soccer games and a large family gathering … remained her chill, sweet self the whole time!” Sounds like she found her forever family and home!

As of tonight two more puppies left today leaving five. We have one cream boy out of Montana and two boys and two girls out of Reagan who will be nine weeks old this Friday. Most of Reagan’s will be beige colored although one boy looks to be almost red colored like Reagan. Duke is the father of all our puppies.

All parents have championship pedigrees and go through our health screening process which includes x-rays of their hips and elbows for certificates from OFA.org showing they are free of dysplasia which causes lameness. We also test the parent’s DNA with a Golden Retriever Disorder panel to lessen the chance of passing on known genetic defects.

All puppies have gone to our vet for age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and brief exams at 4, 6 & 9 weeks of age.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth on I-35.

28/03/2024

Alexander and Sarah came out last night and met our five available male puppies. They narrowed their choices to Star’s last boy with the black collar and Montana’s last boy with the green collar. They settled on Star’s puppy who is 11 weeks old. They tell me they are now calling him Blue. Alexander said he met a lot of his neighbors this morning on his first walk with Blue.

While Star’s puppies are now all gone, we have three cream Montana puppies that are ten weeks old today, and we have five Reagan puppies, mostly beige, with one red boy, that are eight weeks old tomorrow. There are separate posts for each litter on this page.

The puppies come from parents with championship pedigrees per k9data.com. All parents we breed go through our health screening process. That includes x-rays of their hips and elbows and certificates from OFA.org that they are free of dysplasia which could cause early lameness. We also test the parents DNA with Animal Genetics Golden Retriever Disorder Panel. Fortunately Duke and Montana are all clear. Reagan is a carrier for a recessive trait but since she only has one gene, not the pair, she is not affected. Since Duke is all clear, it does not affect their puppies either, although about half will be carriers of that gene. The only time that should be of concern is if they were bred to another dog with the same gene disorder. Most of our customers buy these puppies as pets so that is not usually an issue.

The puppies have been to our vet 2-3 times for age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and brief exams.

We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, about an hour north of Dallas & Fort Worth on I-35. To schedule a visit to our Puppy Heaven, please call Steve at 940-736-0150

Teresa, Kevin & Family came out to our Puppy Heaven and selected Montana & Duke’s AKC Cream Golden Retriever with the aqua collar on Saturday, the last of five puppies to leave us that day. I have included a couple photos of her three remaining siblings, two girls and one boy. Teresa tells me they are naming her Pearl. She now lives in Celina, TX.

Montana’s puppies are ten weeks old today. They come in at night and when the weather is inclement, but they prefer to be outside where they can see the horses, cows and outside cats, at least during the day. They have more room to run around too.

The puppies come from parents with championship pedigrees per k9data.com. Both parents go through our health screening before they are bred which includes X-rays and OFA.org reviews of their hips and elbows to be free of dysplasia which causes lameness. We also tested the parents DNA with Animal Genetic’s Golden Retriever Disorder Panel. Both Montana and Duke tested all clear. Both parents are on site and you will get to meet them when you come visit.

These puppies have been to our vet three times for age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming and brief exams. We will provide vet paperwork in addition to AKC limited registration to all customers.

For more information or to schedule a visit to our Puppy Heaven, please call Steve at 940-736-0150. We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX., about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth on I-35.

If you are looking for a darker puppy, we still have boys and girls out of Reagan’s litter that will be eight weeks old tomorrow.

Here is Montana’s AKC Golden Retriever girl with the Pink collar and the Cook family. She left on Saturday and we have been getting great feedback on a daily basis from Traci. Her son is planning to come and get a future puppy once he has a yard for one. They are calling her Lilly Belle.

We have two girls and one boy left out of Montana and Duke. I haver included a photo at the end of her three remaining siblings in their outside pen. We bring them in at night but they prefer to be outside where they have more room to run and smells to experience.

Both parents are cream colored so their puppies are too. Montana is about 60 pounds. Duke weighs about 90 pounds. Both parents have certificates from OFA.org showing their hips and elbows are free of dysplasia. We also ran the parents DNA against Animal Genetic’s Golden Retriever Disorder panel. Both tests came back all clear.

These puppies have been to our vet three times for brief exams, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming.

For more information or to schedule a visit, please call Steve at 940-736-0150. We are conveniently located in Valley View, TX on I-35, about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth.

These are Reagan’s remaining 7 week old AKC Golden Retriever puppies when I brought them in last night. The two girls are in the green tub and the three boys are in the grey tub.

Among the boys, the boy with The Brown collar is the largest and lightest colored. Most will be some shade of beige. He is on the left front of the tub. The boy with the Orange collar is on the right front of the gray tub. He is quiet here but often the first to climb out. The dark one I am calling Red is working on figuring how to get out in these photos. He is perhaps a little more rambunctious and talkative than his brothers.

Among the girls they are fairly similar in color. The girl with the green collar is on the left, the girl with the yellow collar is on the right. All of them were over ten pounds at their six-week vet exam. They have had two sets of age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and brief vet exams.

Both parents have been through our health-screening process which includes x-rays of their hips and elbows and certificates from OFA.org stating their joints are free of dysplasia. We also ran their parents DNA against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel. Duke, their father is all clear. Reagan is all clear except for being a carrier for the PRCD-PRA gene which can affect the eyes. Fortunately it is a recessive gene so it does not affect Reagan or her puppies since they only have at most one of the pair required to have an adverse effect on the dog. Since Duke is all clear, half the puppies may be carriers of the gene and half should be all clear.

To schedule a visit or for more information, please call Steve at 940-736-0150. West are conveniently located in Valley View, TX, about 20 minutes north of Denton and about an hour north of Dallas and Fort Worth on I-35.

This video is of the Cook & Marroquin families who came up to visit our AKC Golden Retriever Puppy Heaven yesterday. They were both wanting creams, in fact they had picked the one they wanted before they got here but I wanted to expose them to all of Montana’s cream puppies in case they formed a stronger bond with another puppy. They were both here more than 30 minutes playing with the puppies although they both took the one they had chosen remotely. The Marroquin’s came from San Antonio like the Herrings earlier and the Cooks are from Rowlete.

We had one more Montana girl leave shortly after they both left so we have two girls and one boy available out of Montana & Duke. We also have two boys and two girls probably beige and one red boy out of Reagan, and one blonde boy out of Star remaining. Duke is the father of all of them and is cream colored.

For more information or to schedule a visit, please call Steve at 940-736-0150.

All puppies come from parents with championship pedigrees per k9data.com. We get regular feedback about how sweet and smart they are.

We also health screen the parents for several disorders Golden Retrievers are known for starting with hip and elbow dysplasia. OFA.org has reviewed their hips and elbows and gave us certificates they are free of dysplasia which causes lameness. We also ran the parent’s DNA against a Golden Retriever Disorder panel.

Now for the Fine print: In a couple cases the mother’s are carrier’s for one recessive gene per their DNA test but the father Duke is All Clear so about half of the Star and Reagan puppies may be a carrier for one disorder. Since they are recessive traits, they should not suffer from them but if they were bred to a a dog with the same disorder, their puppies could have it. Not usually a big deal but someone made an issue of it recently so we wanted to fully disclose, again. We are happy to make the reports available to serious prospects and I believe we have previously disclosed all this here on Facebook, going back to 2019 in Reagan’s case.
