Pretty good when BB King can be one of the best in the ranching heritage challenge at the FWSSR, and then turns around and has done the grand entry every night ever since, and has handled everything like a champ even when things gone a little wild. Great breeding from Snodgress Cattle Company and we haven’t been blessed to have the chance to train him.

You couldn’t hand anything on this horse on the right side to the rider, lucky she didn’t kill one of us when a boot fell off her side when putting the left one on (she is the sweetest mare, and doesn’t wanna hurt you but she was scared like no one else) and now you can have children falling off her. Still got ways to go, but this mare has come a long way.

Dear 2025,

I believe we are due for a talk….you are still young but boy did you come in like a 🦁.

Let me explain myself, the first time it got cold, I had this feel good feeling when we were all ready for it, the horses all had a nice thick fresh bed of shavings, their waters filled to the top with nice clean fresh water, all blanketed and many laid down and looked real cozy, and I was ok with it.

BUT…..we’ve had way too many of these times come around now and it’s lasting longer than it should. My bones are getting old, the muscles are tight and I don’t like getting all these layers on before I go out. If the north had their weather get drunk, please tell them to come and get it out of our backyard. We didn’t move all the way down here to freeze our butts off.

Now…..if you could just please have the 🐑 come around for the rest of the season that would be greatly appreciated.

She is one pretty flashy 3yr old filly. Not only is she pretty to look at, she is also a super pretty mover. She would make a phenomenal ranch riding prospect but…….look at that pedigree, if she’s bred to work a cow like a dream. She also has a real great stop, sorters, penners, ropers this one is for you.

Congratulations to BB King on finishing 🥉 in the Ranching Heritage Open Working Cow Horse.

They had a great reining and had some tough luck in the cow, took a third cow and that one decided to sneak under him in that second turn after it was turned. We may have had some choice words for that, like they say that must be why they taste so good. But they finished strong. So proud of this horse.
