Blessings through Obedience

God is so good. When I reflect on our story I can’t help but thank our Father for His perfect timing and His plan. Our story begins with the desire to nurture, to share, to connect others, and to show our children the hard work and the unconditional love of a dog. Our first setter as a family is our silly, head strong Gordon “Harely.” She is our sons best friend, fishing sidekick and “boss” dog. In 2017 we felt called to connect others with setters where they too can experience the loyality and majesty of this breed. They are beautiful in the field whether they are pointing a dragonfly , bird, or bee. After searching and researching we traveled all the way to Missouri and brought home our foundation dogs. In hopes that we can develop a small setter breeding program in east Texas. We have seen through the obedience of listening and responding to the Lord prompting how he is blessing us through this adventure. We are able to meet great families and share our love gift with others.

Our dogs are family, they are loyal and trustworthy companions. Setters desire quality time just as our Father desires quality time with each of us. I am reminded each day through interacting with our dogs the unconditional love our Father has for each of us. So we give thanks and glory to Him for the privilege to live on mission through this journey.
