Merry Christmas from alumn Tora 🎅

This sweet face wanted to share a few holiday safety reminders for those of you celebrating this week:

• Secure those doors! A lot of pets feel the holiday stress just like we do, and that can cause a spike in door dashes. Consider putting a dog gate/fence in front of doors that people go in & out of

• Create a safe space - do you ever feel super overwhelmed & just need some time to yourself? So do dogs! Create a quiet area that they have access to so that the humans can give them a break.

• Exercise your dog before the family festivities begin! It's good for them to get out some of the pent up energy out before the chaos ensure

• Watch what they eat! A lot of holiday foods contain ingredients that can be toxic for your dogs. Emergency vets are always busy surrounding the holidays

Alumn Fiona (FKA foster Cassidy) checking in - and look at how great she's doing!

She loves lounging around with her humans, and gets along with everyone she meets. Her family loves giving her all of the love and they go for several walks a day.

Introducing our newest intake - Poca!

This tiny little fighter was brought into our rescue this week after a traumatic car accident. This left her in need of pelvic surgery, which we are happy to report went well 🐾

She could use a few things while she starts the healing process at her foster home. If you're able to help, she'd be forever grateful!

📣📣NOW AVAILABLE - KIRA 📣📣

Are you looking for a smart puppy that’s good with other dogs, great with little kids, and loves to be cuddled? Well look no further, I am the dog for you! 😍

My foster family calls me Kira. I was born in July 2024, and weigh about 15 pounds. I’m your typical Shiba puppy - energetic, loves toys, loves to run around inside and outside, and will chew on things I’m not supposed to. Unlike some other Shibas, I love to cuddle! Give me all the pets because I need them! I’m crate trained and lounge comfortably in one when the humans leave the house. They don’t trust me to be left out of it alone because I will nibble on things they love - like furniture and electrical cords and pillows. I’m sure I will outgrow that phase as I get older. I’m potty trained but do need to be taken out on a regular schedule since I am still basically a baby!

I’ve learned how to sit and touch. I love food and would do well with additional training since I’m so food motivated! I can’t wait to find my forever family so I can continue learning and exploring this great big world that I’ve only just discovered! 🐾

🚨IMPORTANT: In order to be considered for Kira, please complete these steps:
1. Email her personal secretary at [email protected] and let us know why you think your family would be a perfect home for her;
2. Fill out an application; and
3. Provide us with/email your current pets’ most recent veterinary records.
