Another really fun trial in the books! Thank you everyone for joining us and having fun with your pups finding the ratties.

I unfortunately left the paper with all the move ups at the barn so I'll post those later. We are so proud of everyone.

Thank you to all the volunteers that stepped up to help out. You really contribute to making the trial run smoothly. We really appreciate you all!

Lickin’ Lips Dog Bakery thank you so much for the pupachino and cookies. The dogs loved them. What a special treat for them!

Thank you to Stacey Owens and Catherine Wright for stepping in to cover for Dan. We missed you Dan and Catherine and Stacey did a great job covering for you. Thank you Barb Krause for being a super fun judge to work with and bringing Meres for us to adore. Her sneaking up on the rat tubes so the rats don't hear her is so stinking cute. We love her!

Thanks Lisa for bringing our furry friends to play. We appreciate all the work it takes to make sure rats/litters are ring side on time for us to start classes.

Thanks to the VDS Training Team who do such a good job that the trial goes off without a hitch every time. Kim, Sue and Debra thanks for making sure things in the rings were working all three days including lots of course building. Thanks Sue and Scott for running LD. Thanks Robin for making sure everyone got to the blind on time. Thank you Perri for always helping out and being part of the Team. Thank you Marika for being the very best secretary ❤️

To our barn hunt family we appreciate the support you give Valley Dog Sports LLC. The trainers and I really like watching you and your dog grow in confidence. When you nail that tunnel, find the rat over litter, figure out a new way to support your dog whether you que'd or not we are rooting for you!

Our Barn Hunt 101 class is scheduled for August 24th from 9-12. If you have been interested in learning about Barn Hunt this is the class for you. No prior experience needed. If your dog loves to hunt the critters in your yard or on your walks they will love hunting the rats in barn hunt.

We will be taking a Summer break now until August 1st. This gives some time for the VDS Team to enjoy the Summer. We will miss you all and your pups and we will really enjoy seeing you all again in August for practice.

Hi Barn Hunters,

We are getting excited to see you all this weekend. We set up today but ran out of steam to get the canopies up so if you can help us with that tmr we'll have some shade.

It's going to be a hot one so prepare to keep you and your pups cool all weekend. Please bring plenty of water for you and your dogs.

While it's important to volunteer at each trial it becomes even more important when the weather is hot. The faster we can go during the day the quicker we get out of there before it gets too hot. We appreciate our volunteers!

Final confirmations have been sent and we're so excited to see everyone this coming weekend.

Please make sure everything is correct in your confirmation email. It's so much easier to change things before the trial starts. There are three attachments to the email giving you a lot of information about the trial. If this is your first trial welcome and we are so glad you can join us! There's an attachment with information for new handlers. Please let me know if you have any questions.

You couldn't tell it from today's weather but this coming weekend might be a bit hot so please make sure to prepare to keep your pup cool in the car between runs.
