Boca Family Micro Farm was established in 2015 and is dedicated to growing non-GMO, organic fruits, vegetables and raising small livestock freely, consciously, compassionately, and humanely. They are provided with soothing herbs and rose petals to make laying as pleasurable as can be. Our 4 bee colonies are rarely disturbed and we concentrate on populating honey bees and pollinating our garden rat
her than harvesting, so though our demand for honey is high, our harvest is as minimal as possible to allow bees to have plenty of food to survive and procreate. Composting, vermiculture (black soldier flies, red wigglers, and meal worms), and rain water harvesting are also important to the sustainability of our little backyard micro farm. We will be adding fresh milk jersey cows and goats to our family soon. We use NO pesticides or anything that harms or alters the integrity of our soil and food. Farming for us is about good food that's good for you. From our farm to your table: Fresh, Family, Local, Homegrown, Hand-gathered and Homemade...It our way of life and we want to share it with you.
