Meet Gidget, an almost one year‑old American Pitbull Terrier in Greensboro, NC! She’s a joyful whirlwind in a sleek black coat with charming white accents. Gidget bounds into your heart with a wagging tail, a sparkle in her eye, and an automatic sit that melts hearts on contact 😊

She’s already mastered “sit,” “down,” and “leave it,” and is working on “drop it” and “come.” Playtime is her love language! Fetch, squeaky toys, zooming in the backyard, and when she’s done she’ll curl up on the couch like she was made for it.

Gidget is wonderfully affectionate and people‑focused. She’s gentle and sweet with her caregiver’s seven‑year‑old niece and politely wiggles her way into new friendships. She’s done well with confident, dog‑savvy cats (with slow introductions), and though she’s working through some dog‑reactivity she’s already come so far! With positive reinforcement and consistent guidance, she’ll keep shining.

Weighing 43 lbs, she’s all about snuggles, “pittie hugs,” and fun adventures. She’s great with people, including older kids, knows “sit” and “paw,” and is eager to learn more with positive reinforcement training. 🐾 While dog-selective, she can coexist with certain male dogs, but no cats, please! Yeager’s past has left him a bit cautious, especially with unfamiliar people, after a traumatic vet experience. While he’s never bitten, he may growl or air snap when he feels scared. He’s making wonderful progress with medication and positive reinforcement, but he’ll thrive with a family that’s patient, calm, and ready to offer him the space and love he needs to build trust.
