Congratulations to new graduate Cleo and her humans! Cleo is a puppy jack russell terrier that wanted to be able to chill at work with her mom. We worked on her impulse control and acclimated her to the typically stimulus she’ll encounter day to day. Really great work Gabi and Jada!

Congratulations to our newest APP graduate Charlie!

Charlie's 'ohana came to to address destructive tendency in home, and resource guarding behaviors. With patience, persistently clear communication, and an understanding of Charlie's physical and mental needs we were able to curb these unwanted behaviors.

Real world, off leash reliability, is a request I receive all the time! And as you can see here with .silverlab it takes clear, consistent, communication and practice, but more importantly, we have to take the process slow and with low stimulus.
Next step, real live dogs PRESENT and recall, STAY TUNED!

I truly love aggression cases!
I know wierd right?
But honestly these are some of the dog who need my help the most and are actually way more rewarding when I get to help rehabilitate these aggressive large breed dogs and train their humans how to clearly communicate the behaviors they DO want from.their dog!
ALL WITHOUT ANY E-COLLAR, Strictly Canine Communication!

I can not explain the joy I feel when a client reaches back out to me, years after having worked together, and is keeping true to what was learned at A Pet Perspective and continuing to build off the principles into perpetuity!

Highlights from an awesome session with Maia and her family! A key part of human-canine relationships is understanding when support and reassurance is needed from the human and when it is actually more healthy and productive for the canine to work out a situation on their own.
Here you can see professor Pono and Bradda Bodhi teaching young Maia how to socialize and play with big dogs!

Penny may be little but she's got BIG energy needs.
While working with her, Foley, and Lindsey we deduced she has mostly Jack Russel or some other type of Terrier: a very energetic breed.
People don't often think of giving a small sized dog a significant amount of exercise (like going for a run) but they are often the ones who need it most!

In this Edition, we step inside the Canine Mind to study a 8 month old Dogo Argentine who was terrorizing his family, biting, snapping, and lunging at the Kids and any other Family members.
After working together for 6 weeks, we got the family and puppy in sync and set up for a long healthy safe life together!

After a long day of helping me work with clients, Bodhi and Pono get some extra personal playtime with me.
This play time was extra EXTRA special because we got some new toys from ! These are big, durable, and exciting toys for all the good dogs who come to our facility!

This purple ball may or may not be a horse toy, but we don't need to tell Bodhi that!

My Best Employees "Professor Pono" and "Bradda Bodhi" working with "Rocco" and his owner Logan on maintaining a good "Connected Walk" with other VERY LARGE dogs present!

BTW he's never been able to pass other dogs without lunging, pulling, and engaging any other dog.

Dialing in "James" energy needs for his unique Fulfillment Equation!6 miles with a max speed of 9.8mph!
Every dog is different, and have different needs to be a good balanced dog. On my I am able to get most dogs up to their "Full Canter" (when all 4 paws come off the ground at the same time)
