Mrs.Kallie and Reba the horse Unfortunately had a disagreement on how many toes I actually need to properly function🤣. It is just a fracture but due to this some lessons that require me to be on my feet more may get canceled this week. I apologize for any inconvenience to my students and their families, and will contact students accordingly. Everyone knows I love to be barefoot but going in the field at feeding time with no shoes was not a very smart decision on my part! Lesson learned!

FREE!! We are doing some remodeling in the house and this couch has got to go! If anyone wants it, it is FREE!! Good couch both sides recline, it was in my kids play room which is their free space to create so it has paint on it and it's just generally dirty from kids. But smoke free and mostly pet free because the pets don't really go in there and lay on the couch. Very heavy you will need help to load.

Another successful animal rescue for the week! This beautiful black snake found itself in quite a tight space, looked like it had been stuck for a while. Thankfully Laura spotted it while we were getting shavings. And we all know iam not a huge fan of snakes so Paul N Renee Stamey came to help get the poor thing unstuck! He is free to roam the farm once again hopefully not in my shavings!

Iam still currently in shock over the events from this evening. I don't even know what to say! This sweet sweet boy was one of a kind, they just don't make them like him anymore. It may take a few days to share a more in depth post everything happened so quickly. But I wanted to give our students families a heads up before lessons begin tomorrow morning. We absolutely hated to let him go but it was his time to leave this world. He is and was so very loved and will truly be missed.

Rainy day fun! We had a heated competition with blindfolded saddling and a blind horse Obstacle course! Communication is always key when it comes to riding Communication between you and your horse and Communication between you and your instructor. These activities help us remember that very important part of horsemanship.

What the horses do to beat the heat!!

We would like to welcome this beauty to her new home here at Lazy C Farm! Reba Mac is a 5yr old quarter horse mare with lots of potential. At only 5 she is still a baby and while we will need to finish out her training to get her ready for the lesson program, we think she will be a perfect fit here! We are excited to see her grow and progress to her full potential!

I would like to congratulate Reese on her canter! The canter is a big step and this girl has come such a long way Reese aspires to one day ride for a college equestrian team and I think she is well on her way to reaching that goal! Keep working hard girl your amazing!!
