Laundry Detergent Plastic Bottles are toxic for the environment. They are mostly water in tough to decompose heavy plastic bottles. It is a marketing ploy to make you think you are getting a lot by making it big and bulky. Only 30% of the bottles ate ever recycled. So we are trying a better choice. I will let everybody know in a couple of weeks what I think of the sheet detergent that is eco-friendly.

π The Acquisition of Medical Equipment to Upgrade Spay, Neuter, & Vaccine Clinics into Full Service Low/No Cost Vet Clinics. πββ¬ After speaking to several spay, neuter, and vaccine clinics, we learned they want to do more but can not afford the medical equipment. The machines are very expensive. For example, a clinic owner purchased a refurbished
Blood Machine with the intent of expanding the clinic to a full service low/no cost clinic. The refurbish machine cost over a $100,000. The clinic is forced, however, to do mostly spay and neuters to cover the payments of the machine leaving limited availabilty for other much needed surgeries. A recent scientific discovery that is very promising might eliminate the need for surgical spay or at least greatly reduce them opening up time and appointments that can be dedicated to full service needs. IF the studies show it is safe and it's introduced into the public, then the hope is these clinics can begin to transition into greatly needed full service vet clinics. We foresee there will be a great need for surgical equipment to help them out.

This little blessing who is strong, healthy, and full of zest for life, came to us early in the morning the very same day I had to defend myself and animals against a cruel man who has been running smear campaigns against me for some time. I still do not understand his motivation or how he could go overseas and do what he did to those poor creatures. To me, this was God sending me a gift of encouragement and a nod of approval that I am on the right track and doing the right thing.

Music On! πΆ This morning I woke up to meowing outside the bedroom door. I was very upset to be woken up at the crack of dawn and, half-awake, stumbled to the door to go shoo a cat away as Bryan moaned. I opened the door and my blurry eyes made out a silver cat who quickly sped away knowing it was too early. A play mouse was at the door as a present, so probably Tahiti. She is certainly the smartest cat I have ever bred. As I stumbled back to bed to lie down, I looked out the balcony to see this! Thank you my Little Tahitian Gardenia! An even more amazing gift than the mouse left for me. She is promoted to my creative assistant. I hear lots about sunsets, but I will take a sunrise and moon rise always over a sunset. π No filter was used. I put a filter on it to see what it would do and it dulled it down, so I scrapped it. This is God's creation, not man's... and it is unparalleled.

Stache knows he is not supposed to be in the parlor but he is doing his best to act like he is cool and just hanging out. It seems to be working as Bryan hasn't booted him out. But the look on his face knows this will not last long. He isn't allowed in the parlor bc he is like a bull in a fine China store. He'll take everything out! π
Well, GC PaJean's Buttons, now Spicy Latte, has not only become a cat model but dare I say a cat model diva! She's totaling channeling Naomi Campbell and had a diva moment when she took out the Christmas Treeπ. Gosh, I just love this cat so much and I am so proud of Star for bringing out the best in her! Fabulous forever home! Buttons is the one Pamela Bassett paired with Bond to get him breeding. She is something else this one.
Buttons (momma to Bondette, Luv Potion, Half Stache, & Magic) and post her show career. She's now a cat model. She loves it! Great job Star!

Well, I was having a great time at the LCWW Skyway Cat Show in Tampa until my genetic heart defect flared up this morning. The show was way more fun than Urgent Care. Good news though with both! Tugees made all his finals in a very adorable kitten class including 2x 2nd Best on Saturday! I had to absentee Sunday. Thank you, Judges!!! Always fun to see Gigi Guerriero and her cute little Toybobs! I saw 2 breeds I have never seen before... The Toyger and Lykoi. Loved them both. So unusual and very striking! Here are clips and pics. Congratulations to all. It was a very competitive show in a great venue with high-quality kitties and a big variety of breeds. I was impressed! As for my health, no more pushing myself too hard without proper sleep and hydration. And big thanks to Katrina Sortino for helping me with the kitties!!!

Kenny Currle and Lions & Owls Tortugo Dry, a.k.a. "Tugees," bonding in the show ring. Tugees is our F1 generation for our breed preservation project of putting the green-eyes back on the Silver Tabby Persian. We are very pleased with him. Named after the Dry Tortuga National Park as he is a Florida Keys baby. His sister was born first, then Tugees. Those two grew up chasing green iguanas through the lanai screening and watching the fishing boats come and go as the fishermen searched for their loot of Florida lobsters and hogfish. Their sire is Pamela Bassett and my gorgeous GC Pajean's Telluride aka "Ghost" and my green-eye queen, Key West, a.k.a. "Kiwi." Kiwi has bright green eyes like those iguanas she and her babies chase. Pam's mom, Jean Bassett, loved the green eyes and Silver tabbies. Cat of the Year (COTY) GC BW NW PaJean's Trinket Love DM is this kittens ancestral grand-mother. These furbabies have a wonderful blend of curiosity for the wild blended with the temperament of a cushion and cream cat. They both are participating in a green-eye genetic study to identify the gene in feline genetics. #Greatweekend and much-needed fun after Hurricane Ian and bronchitis. Counter top cat or small dog (up to 20 pounds) dryer for sale. It is fairly new (3 - 4 months old) and works wonderful. I am installing cabinetry with a built-in cabinet dryer, so I am selling this one. This dryer is wonderful. It saves time and your back. My favorite for maintenance baths. You just put your kitty in and set the timer, temperature, and fan strength. It has a sanitation mode, filter, and specialize rug. I've put 3 kittens in there at once to dry them. I comb them out before I do after their bath and then comb them about every 20 minutes as they are drying. Great for pet buyers, as well.
