PSA: I usually save “Giggly Tips” for our monthly newsletter, but there are too many dogs suffering from thunder and firework anxiety this time of year. (Thanks, neighbors 🙄). Dogs WILL jump fences or push doors open when they’re spooked. Make sure they’re contained in a safe place indoors . Play background music or white noise. Thundershirts work great (you can make your own by tying them in an old T-shirt nice and tight). CBD is wonderful if it works. We get ours from . Something stronger might be needed , like ace promazine or trazodone (must be prescribed by a veterinarian) for the worst of it. Let’s help keep them safe and calm!
