Over a year later 🤍…

I won’t make a sweeping statement that I’ll get back to regular posting, but now that I’ve been “back to work” for over a year I figured one post a year isn’t too bad? The Instagram algorithm certainly loves that!

Started a new supplement for my horse over the weekend and already impressed by their more sustainable packaging 🤗 Now just hoping that it lives up to the hype and research 🤞🏻 . . . I like to try any new supplements on my own animals (as they need them) prior to making recommendations to clients. Really hoping to be able to share this one soon!

Let’s talk about sleep 😴 . . I’m always asking clients how their pets are sleeping (amongst approximately 3,858 other questions). Whether or not they “dream”, where they prefer to sleep and how often/when they wake up during the night all helps me to create a treatment plan. Granted, this is easier to know in our dogs and cats, but if you have this type of info for your horse the more power to you (and keep me filled in)! . . Have you ever said “I’ve been sleeping horribly, bad dreams, waking up at night, but my health has never been better!!” Chances are, no. When we don’t sleep well, we don’t feel our best... why do we think our pets are exempt? . . I could go on and on as to how this fits in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine theory, but let’s just keep it at- it’s important. And although they look so cute when they are chasing dogs in their sleep- it may be the sign of an underlying imbalance. . . DM or leave any questions below 👇🏼
