Our Story

Seven Oaks Farms (formerly Seven Oaks Stables)

We are a small farm located in northeast Mississippi near Mississippi State University. We have a passion for Longhaired Miniature Dachshunds and Tennessee Walking Horses and enjoy connecting with those who share this common interest. We raise a few litters of champion-bred puppies each year plus a foal or two on occasion - ALL from long-standing, proven champion bloodlines. In addition to our long-standing stallion service for WGC Sir Oliver de Jose, we now offer full horse boarding, an occasional horse or two for sale, special event services (e.g. birthday parties) and accommodations.

We have bred and shown champion spotted Tennessee Walking Horses for over 20 years now. Dachshunds have been our companions since 1990. We entered the AKC show ring in 2014 and had our first litter in January, 2016. Our philosophy for both equine and canine is the same - QUALITY not quantity. We strive to combine sires and dams from long-standing, proven champion-producing, healthy lines with impeccable conformation, intelligence and temperament plus beauty to boot.
