e Global Food Safety Initiative, the Safe Quality Food Program and United Egg Producers. The guidelines, systems, processes and cross-functional teams the company employs ensure that the eggs arrive safely and quickly to customers so that Southern California families get the highest-quality eggs possible. Norco Ranch egg farmers care for their hens under a strict 3rd-party-audited animal welfare program in state-of-the-art, clean, safe environments. People from within a hundred miles of the farms can often purchase the eggs within 48 hours of being laid. The company produces and distributes eggs for its premier brands Farmer’s Gems and Norco Ranch, as well as other “store” brands in Southern California. All the eggs are packed in recycled, non-toxic packaging, using methods that need minimal resources. In addition to producing fresh, nutritious, high-quality eggs, Norco Ranch farmers take pride in the traditions and values of being good stewards of the land, providing superior care for their hens, and in giving back to the communities that surround and support them.
