Mary joins the show with two adorable kittens, Jesse and Magnolia, to highlight the importance of cat adoption and spay/neuter awareness. The all-cat rescue will be bringing 15 to 20 kittens to Prospect Bank in Paris on August 23rd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Edgar County Humane Association hosted a Cat Adoption Day at First Mid Bank and Trust this past Saturday, successfully finding homes for six kittens. The ECHA extends a HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed to this event. A special shout-out goes to Morgan Knight, who organized the event and dedicated her day off to assist. She was a true champion, showcasing all the adorable kittens. Now, six kittens have found their forever homes! Thank you to our community for coming together for this event – you all are amazing!

Meet Gojo.........! A half Siamese Cat!!

I am seeking a loving home for Gojo, a male, neutered, 8-year-old cat who is looking for his forever family. Gojo is an absolute sweetheart, always craving love and cuddles. You won’t find a better companion than him!
Gojo was living on a porch when my granddaughter moved into her new home. Initially, he was a bit shy, but he quickly became friendly. As she got closer to him, she noticed he was having some dental issues. A vet visit revealed he needed a long-overdue teeth cleaning and a few extractions. Thankfully, all of his veterinary care is now complete, and he is ready to start a new life free from pain. It has been a week since his surgery, and he is recovering wonderfully.
I am looking for a patient and compassionate individual or family to welcome Gojo into their home, helping him recuperate and enjoy the rest of his life to the fullest. Gojo has been fully vetted, received his vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, and nail trimming, and will be microchipped at the time of adoption.

A plea for Astoria!

Astoria’s story begins in a heartbreaking way. Rescued from a dumpster with a plastic bag tied around her, she was in dire condition. Fortunately, a hero heard her faint whimper and rushed her to the vet just in time. It was a terrifying experience for her, but as you can see in her pictures, she has made a remarkable recovery.
Now, Astoria is a healthy, sweet, and affectionate young cat who deserves a second chance. I am reaching out with a heartfelt plea for someone special or a loving family to adopt her and show her that compassionate people still exist.
Having endured a horrific ordeal, Astoria was also pregnant at the time of her rescue, but thankfully, all her kittens found wonderful homes. Now, it’s her turn to experience love and security.
