AKC Standard Poodle Puppies!

AKC Standard Poodle puppies were born on August 4th!:

The mom is my baby and we are going through this experience together...again. The puppies are being raised in my kitchen with lots of love and attention! They will be starting puppy pad training and getting baths to get used to them before they get ready for their furever home. All puppies have their own little personality whether adventurous or shy, begs for attention, or patiently waits his or her turn. They are all the sweetest things. They will need great furever homes with love and plenty of fun in life!

Puppies will be temporarily “named” with their collar colors for tracking purposes and their status can be seen in the photos section! Mom is pure black and dad pure white.

Puppies will have all required vet checks, shots, AKC paperwork, etc. when they are ready to go home at the end of May.

$350 non-refundable holding fee (Will be deducted from the total cost of $1400) will hold the puppy of your choice. Puppies will be ready to go home between 8 and 10 weeks, depending upon their status. I will not ship puppies. They have to be picked up in person from Chesapeake, VA or arrangements made at an extra cost, but NO Plane rides in cargo for these babies! I also do not dock my puppies tails, nor remove dew claws.

Standard poodle information:

Poodles come in three size varieties with Standards being the largest. They should be more than 15 inches tall at the shoulder. By the time you add the rest of their body, they are not anything like the miniature version!

Poodles tend to be great for both very active and sedentary life styles. They need are happy in apartments, as long as they get walked, and are just as happy with hiking, playing in water, running, etc. That makes them great for most any lifestyle whether you like to be on the go all the time, or prefer to be home, snuggling with your new best friend.

According to the AKC:

“Poodles are eager, athletic, and wickedly smart “real dogs” of remarkable versatility... Poodles are extremely intelligent and are easily trained. They are agile and graceful as well as smart, and they enjoy and excel in a variety of canine sports, including agility, obedience, and tracking. They are excellent water retrievers and also compete in dock diving and retriever hunt tests. Poodles are very people oriented, and if your training routines are fun and positive, they are quick to please you. Just be sure that you are being consistent with what you ask.”
