Selling exotic / rare mearns / Montezuma quail and mountain quail. Mountain quail (have the bluish color in the photos) are the largest quail in North America and are native to the western U.S. Mearns / Montezuma quail (the males have the bright white face) are native to Arizona, New Mexico, parts of Utah and all of Mexico. They especially make great pets as they

are very curious and affectionate. They will perch on your shoulder or lap and follow you around your home. All of my mearns quail breeders are direct, first line hatches from actual wild caught mearns quail from Mexico. Both breeds have very beautiful calling sounds. Both breeds can be kept inside or outside without any issues...even in cold climates. I keep all of mine outside in pens. All of my pens are kept extremely clean. I have never had an issue with diseases...ever. All of my quails are fed a name brand premium game bird feed that is very high in protein...important for game birds. I refuse to compromise my stock with a cheap feed. These birds go fast. There are very few of us in the entire U.S. who sell these (especially mearns quail) and everyone always sells out. Mountain quail juveniles: $100 each plus shipping. Mearns / Montezuma quail juvenile PAIRS ( hen & rooster): $525/pair with free overnight shipping. I cannot guarantee the s*x of mountain quail at this young of age. It takes a good 20 weeks before you can accurately tell. At 8 weeks I can tell the s*x of mearns quail. End of season extra males I sell for $100 each. SHIPPING LIVE BIRDS:
Birds cost $75 to ship. These boxes accommodate several birds. You will receive your quails overnight regardless of where you live in the U.S. All of these photos are of my actual quail. Crickets for Quails During the wintertime I like to spoil my quails by picking up some crickets from the local baitshop. We were just there buying some wax worms and minnows to use for ice fishing on our lake today/tonight and they had crickets as well so I bought a bunch of them.
