This young man is ambitious and it shows. Today we struck a deal to help him in his FFA projects. Travis Smalley will raise our quail, chukar, and pheasants for us to train our dogs over.

Needed a poultry box after I lost mine in the coop fire. I haul my pigeons. Quail, and pheasants in a poultry box when I’m working dogs over live birds.
Used an old shutter from the house I grew up in and an old belt.

Guess I’ll use the others to make more!

I’ve had folks ask me multiple times where and how I learned to train my dogs.
Richard Wolters wrote a book back in the 60’s that really gave me the base of what I do.

I’ve expanded that to my own practices with the results I choose.

When we get into the market for a new puppy to introduce into our lines, I pull this book out and refresh myself with its words.

Not a better book in my opinion.
