Hi everyone! Someone posted the following on the New Braunfels Pet Adoption page. I thought I’d share in case anyone was interested in adopting a very smart and very trained 3 year old Lab!
Small rehoming fee apply. Located in New Braunfels. We are looking for an immediate home for our three year-old charcoal lab. She has been to two board & training sessions, one for a puppy classes the second for advanced boarding train. She is very smart. She listens to commands, she is cuddly and loving, she just requires being the only female dog in the house. She’s quite the alpha female, and we have two senior females in the house, who are not getting along with her at this point and it’s not fair for any of them. She Loves swimming she loves playing she loves cuddling. She really needs a new home with a family that can love her appropriately. A small rehoming fee will apply. Please reach out if you are interested in possibly adding this beautiful babies to your Home, we are heartbroken but this is the correct decision for our family. She absolutely loves to swim and would love to find a house that has a family that would take her swimming.

Hi ! Check out my new friends at the Woof Factory! They are based in Kansas but happily ship their delicious dog treats anywhere! I ordered some a couple weeks ago and my dogs, plus a lot of client dogs are already raving about these dog treats! They even sent me some sample packs to share with some lucky clients of mine! Check out their page and website to help support these two little boys adventure starting their own dog treats business! They also donate to local shelters with the money they make on their sales!
I know a lot of us struggle with finances or are just not doing well lately, but love our pets with our whole hearts and want to give them the best life possible. But vet prices these days to keep our furry family happy and healthy are not always manageable with our budgets. This group is amazing and have been around since 1986 in Boerne, TX! You can still shop at their thrift store which continues to be the primary funding source for the nonprofit clinic! They also take donations if anyone needs a write off I couldn’t think of many better than this group.

For all my fellow mosquito magnets, I decided to try out these OFF Mosquito repellent towelettes since I’m outside 50-75% of my day in all kinds of backyards, dog parks or walks around the neighborhood with those little bloodsuckers. I hate spraying OFF all over me leaving that sticky feeling all over, not to mention the fumes after spraying a whole can on yourself 😂😂 and I feel like sweat breaks it down overtime. These wipes are awesome! You just wipe yourself down with them and it dries on you almost instantly. Doesn’t stink, like at all and I don’t have that sticky filmy residue all over me. AND! It works! No bites! My only con is one wipe only allowed me to cover one full leg, but it did cover from my feet to the top of my thigh, until the wipe was starting to dry up. All in all, I will definitely be using these from now on but I do have my can of the OFF Clean Feel spray when I need a more heavy duty coverage for clients homes I know have bad mosquito issues due to being near water or dry creeks that breed those bastards in the millions.

I’ve always said it only takes one time and you will never forget again. Well apparently it takes two times…ALWAYS check the doggy p**p bag is intact and does NOT have any holes at the bottom before proceeding to pick the p**p up with it!!!💩 🤢

I need a large expandable hardside suitcase but everything I find is well over a $120! As y’all know, I live out of a suitcase and my car going house to house and I’ve about killed my current one (the suitcase, a deer tried to kill my car but insurance is dealing with that) but it’s also not big enough 🙄 I somehow end up with a suitcase and extra bags after about two weeks moving house to house no matter how conservative I get with my packing. ANYWAYS…if any of you wonderful people out there are looking to get rid of a hardside one around 30”+ under $100 let me know!!

Abby doesn’t really care about me so it’s rare she greets me but does come running for food! Also, some diabetic awareness for Mr. Mav. A bummer but curable for cats! I actually have a diabetic yorkie client so I’m a pro in giving insulin shots and all kinds of oral meds just in case y’all know someone looking for an experienced pet sitter that can give injections. Casy’s Pet Care Info
I started to do pet sitting this past year while I was between jobs and continued to pick up more and more clients until I ended up with around 15 wonderful clients that I have provided pet care for at least 2+ times! I am now taking classes online to finish a degree, so I decided providing pet care will help me pay my bills, etc. while I do that. The degree I am pursuing will allow me to work from home online so I am excited that I will be able to continue my tiny little pet sitting business! I finally decided it was time for me to promote my services on Facebook, so here I am! I am hoping my current and past clients will offer some reviews on here and share my page to friends and family!
A little of my history with animals: I was born with dogs already in our home. I cannot remember one time in my life that we have not had at least one dog in our home, along with a rabbit, turtles and a couple cats. As if that wasn’t enough responsibility alone, by the 7th grade I started raising and showing steers! From the 7th grade until I graduated high school, I raised around 10 steers and 2 lambs. It is safe to say that after raising steers that weighed up to 3,000lbs, I am not afraid of large animals of any kind. I am comfortable around all dogs and I think they sense that because I haven’t met a dog yet that didn’t immediately take to me which helps immensely in being a dog sitter. I can’t say the same about cats lol, but most cats hate everyone except for the person that feeds them daily, but I manage. :)
A little info on pet sitting and the services I can offer:
Some dogs don't like to travel and being in new unfamiliar places can be traumatizing and cause your pet to go off their food or become physically ill. I can stay in your home during the day and overnight where your pet is most comfortable, while also keeping them on the schedule you have set for them, as well as, take care of any other tasks in your home that need attention while you are away. I guarantee one-on-one attention to your fur babies!
I am also available anytime for drop in visits during the day 24/7, 365 days a year, including holidays. Most of my current clients have given me a key to their homes for last minute situations, (working later than usual, not able to get to the house to let pets out for hours, to feed, take outside, walk and/or exercise. Please let me know if you would like any references from my past and current clients!
