Kitten season never really ends for us, but with the Spring getting closer we need to start preparing! We had so much fun at our last meat raffle, lets do it again! Bring your friends out to the Alberta Bar & Grille on Friday, February 7th! Our raffle will start at 7pm. Come early and have a meal and some drinks and go home with some meat! Can't wait to see you there!

These 3 cuties were livetrapped in Morris at one of our TNR locations. They were too small to be re-released so SCHS agreed to take them in and find them homes. They spent a month at the vet growing and getting healthy. They have now been fixed and given vaccinations. They are currently in a foster home learning that people are good but now they are ready to find their forever homes. They will need someone who understands it might take them a little time to warm up and feel comfortable in a new place. Look at this gorgeous boy! Gunner is still looking for his forever home. He's so excited to be with people. Spend some time training with this boy and he's going to make a fantastic pet! Update on Mags:

Because of you, we were able to get Mags in for her dental work this last week. She is feeling so much better. She's starting to act like a normal cat! Playing and asking to be petted. She had several teeth pulled and other problem areas cleaned up! She has been a little drooly but has started to eat again. She has even been nibbling at the dry kibble! We are so grateful for your support! Because of your donations we are able to help cats like Mags get the help they need! Mags is now available for adoption. Our January adoption special is still going thru the end of the month. 50% off adoption fees!

This pretty girl is Mags. She was surrendered to us a couple weeks ago. Mags came in with severe dental disease and has trouble eating because of the pain. She will have to have some extensive work done to get her pain free. The kind of work she will need can be quite expensive. Please donate if you can or share this post!

Mags is not currently available until her vet work is complete. She is 11 years old, spayed and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in adopting this sweet older girl when the time comes you can find our adoption application on our website. Hopefully we can get Mags right into her forever home when she's feeling better!

New Guy Alert! This is Gunnar! 1 year old Shepherd/Heeler X. Gunnar was neutered and got his first set of vaccines this week. Gunnar is a young guy with lots of energy. We are still learning about his personality. If you are interested in meeting him, send us a message!

Every year we end up helping whole families. From birth up until they leave for their forever homes. This year, little Baloo, was born in the shelter, spent some time growing up in a foster home and is now at the shelter waiting for a home of his own. Baloo is the only one of his litter still looking. Baloo's foster mom tells us that he has been the sweetest, most go with the flow kinda guy since he was born. If you are looking for a cat to lay around with and cuddle, he is definitely the guy for you! Baloo is up to date on vaccines, neutered and patiently waiting for his forever home!

Meet Archer! Archer is a 1-2 year old pyrenes mix. He's neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Archer's favorite thing is snuggling! He wants nothing more than to be as close to you as possible. Archer is so sweet and does his best to do what's asked of him. He listens pretty well and he's happy to learn the rules of your home. Archer has never had an accident in his kennel since he's been with us. He keeps his kennel clean, doesn't chew up his blankets, and walks well on a leash. Archer loves other dogs and loves to play, hasn't really paid much attention to the cats here and seems to get along with the kids he's had a chance to meet while with us.
