Meeko is looking for a home of his own for Christmas! Our other new canine resident, Marlo, was adopted this weekend. Meeko is a 1-2 year old neutered male, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed. Message this page if you have any questions or would like to come and meet him!

We have a couple of new additions to the canine family here at SCHS! These guys are part of a multiple-shelter effort to get them safe and into new homes. The mom, dad and 2 pups are now vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and looking for their forever families. We get to help out these two. The black pup is Miko! He is the father. Only about a 1.5 years old and sweet as can be! We don't know a ton about either of them yet, but so far they seem to be people and dog friendly, a little timid in new situations and curious when they spotted the cats when coming into the building. His daughter, the blue Merle with blue eyes has not been named yet. We would love your help again in choosing her new name! She is about 6 months old, sweet but timid. They will both need some time to decompress, but they are starting to realize they are gonna have a full belly and a warm, clean bed everyday! Comment with your name suggestions for our sweet girl and we will choose on Monday!

Mr. Archer has been returned to us and is adoptable again. And that's OK! Not every dog is a perfect fit! Now we know that Archer needs a little work on his indoor manners. Which fits with our thinking that he was maybe someone's farm dog in his past life. Archer loves people, loves kids, keeps his kennel clean and isn't concerned at all with other pets and he's very happy to do what you ask. Our volunteers are taking extra time to help him learn how to be on his best behavior. If you have the patience to help this big boy continue learning, send us a message or fill out an application on our website!
