Missing for 20 days in Coconut Grove, Florida… Couvee is now SAFE & HOME!!!

The phone call just came in from a homeowner/good Samaritan who’s been out of town for the last couple weeks, and lives just a couple blocks from Couvee’s home. The caller told Couvee’s owner that she just got home from out of town, saw her sign, and noticed there is a cat inside her house. She said that the cat looks as if she has mange and there is p**p everywhere inside her home. As soon as the caller said the cat looked like she had mange, Couvee’s owner rushed out the door knowing it was her. We have no idea how Couvee got inside this woman’s home, but we are so thankful the homeowner is not a snowbird! Couvee’s on her way to the vet now for a checkup… Welcome Home Couvee & CASE CLOSED!!!

Couvee went missing April 24,2025, in Coconut Grove, FL off Stewart Ave & Douglas Rd. Couvee is a 4-year-old, spayed, female, black, short haired cat weighing 9 lbs. Currently, Couvee’s hair on her belly, legs, and tail looks shorter or shaved due to allergies.
Couvee is a shy girl; she will most likely not allow a stranger to approach her, please do Not chase her if seen, just take a photo, try to keep eyes on her, and call the number on the sign. Couvee got out of the house with a few of her furr siblings, after a mechanism in the door stopped working and did not close all the way. Couvee’s family is worried sick, please call with any possible leads. There is a $500 reward for information leading to Couvee’s safe return, thank you all.

Marco is an indoor only cat; he may be shy at first with strangers since he is not used to being outside. Marco was not seen leaving the house, but his family believed he got scared while a commercial vacuum was being used and got out an open door. Update: It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that Maria has been found deceased. My heart goes out to Maria’s family, you both are amazing people and did everything possible to find her. Rest in peace Maria, you will forever be in our hearts.
