Had the opportunity today to work with Jeff and his Service Dog Leo. We have been training Leo for a few months and he is smart and a great super dog. He will actually be awesome here soon, living in Vegas and helping his Owner with the tasks he needs to preform.

So, excited to see how much Jeff already knows and how in touch he is with his dog. Also to see how attached LEO is in only a few short days. He loves his owner.

Over the past 4 or so years, this guy has gone from a student to my constant buddy.

He is an assistant trainer participating in the training of many of the dogs i have trained at times! He is a great and loyal dog, now getting older at almost 8 years old, he is starting to slow down some.

However he is awesome i am so happy to have him and glad he has been a part of my life. Im grateful he was given to me and grateful i have had the opportunity to enjoy him!!

Kiyon i hope we can get another 8 or so years out of you, although i know that is somewhat unlikely, i really hope for the best! Love you my friend!

Anyone can be a dog trainer, did you know that? Are you aware, many have hung their shingle as a dog trainer, with little to no formal training?

Some have taken a few online classes and called it good, some have no formal education as a trainer at all?

Now, im not stating that there are not some dang good dog trainers out there, with or without any type of certification. There are some great dog trainers.
