The new crew at Shade Tree Kennels earned ribbons this past weekend at the Carnation, WA APLA test

Little Big Dog, aka Teddy is now APR STK's Midwest Magic Teddy Bear. With very good marks on land and water, an ok blind and strong pointing Teddy earned his Advanced title.

We are excited for his future here. He's a good one!

Miss Libby, well let's just say this young girl is highly driven, bird crazy and needs to temper her drive with cooperation in the bird field. But she did earn her first Certified Pointing Retriever pass Saturday before the wheels fell off. Lol

Libby, daughter of Ted and Ready shows great promise. She's an excellent marker, has great pointing style, we just have lots of steadying and obedience to do. She's not yet a year old so we have time.

Great fun this weekend at the North Idaho Retriever Club AKC Hunt Test

Fox and Sage passed both days, Libby passed today all in Junior. Two days of decent weather, great judges and good dogs made for a fun weekend

Hank and I gave Master a shot, a late whistle gave Hank the leeway to duck into the sage and decide to hunt for himself. Ah well. Another day.

Only a couple Sugar Babies left! These pups are pointing at 6 weeks, very well socialized, litter box trained and will be terrific upland, waterfowl, hunt test and family dogs

Loaded pedigree! Parents have clearances. Ya snooze ya lose!

Great afternoon with Steve, Fox and Sage!

Fox nailed a long mark requiring a swim across the creek and up the bank She was dead on, stepped on the bird

Sage was awesome too. Proud of our young dogs.
