CANTER HILL is a high care, peaceful horse boarding facility in Stokesdale NC- 10 min N of Greensboro

CANTER HILL Stables is a family owned and operated 27 acre horse boarding and riding facility in Stokesdale, NC (just 15 minutes north of Greensboro, NC). Our mission is to provide a family friendly atmosphere for all riding disciplines at any level of experience from competitive showing to pleasure trail riding, while providing a safe and clean facility that is a fun and stress-free place for our

boarders to relax with their horses and have peace of mind that their horses are well managed while they are away. Experienced riders over 18 are free to ride unsupervised (but always recommended to ride with at least one observer), or for those looking for lessons or training can bring their own favorite trainer. Facilities include:

• 190'x90' lighted riding arena with high quality, groomed sand footing

• Wooded and shaded riding trails with active running streams

• Six fenced pastures for daily turnouts

• Two modern barns with well vented stalls and exterior windows and rubber mats

• Personal tack lockers (for full and partial boarders)

• Fly spray system above each stall

• Individual stall cameras for remote viewing on PC or smart phone

Blankets off and sun on our backs finally. The past few weeks have been brutal. Hats off to all my fellow barn owners, managers, and caregivers for getting it done. To frozen troughs, pipes, water, p**p, barn doors, gates, hands, face, and toes. For keeping the ponies warm, eating, drinking and moving. Spring is coming !

Somewhere, somewhere in time's own space, there must be some sweet pastured space where creeks sing on, and tall trees grow. Some paradise
where horses go. For by the love that guides my pen, l know great horses
live again

Canter Hill Stables currently has two stall board openings available. Offering one 12 x 12 stall and one 12 x 24 for those needing a little extra room. We are a small, quiet facility that offers a more personalized care for your retired and lightly ridden horse with manager living on site. Located in Stokesdale NC just north of Greensboro.
