I’m in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I train dogs, and a client of mine has this male mini Australian Shepherd needing to rehome. There is a rehoming fee.

Parents are purebred, but no papers. He’s about 4 months old, VERY intelligent and eager to please.

I’ve had him for less than a week working on his basic obedience, leash training, crate and house training. He came to me with absolutely NO training. He’s doing great! He’s sleeping all night in the kennel and barks in the morning to go outside.

He is a work in progress but is so eager to please. He loves everyone, and great with kids and other dogs.

THIS is just like my Joplin at the side of the bed.
She puts her front feet up… turns to look at me and says with those big sad eyes.. “Mom, I can’t get up.” So I have to lift her back end up onto the bed. ❤️🤦‍♀️😂🤦‍♀️❤️

Physical vs. Mental Exercise for Dogs

Dogs need physical exercise, mental exercise, play, freedom to be a dog, & rest.

Exhaustion is not training. If you feel you need to tire your dog out so they’re more manageable then you’re likely over-doing physical exercise & under-doing mental exercise.

Stimulating your dog’s mind in the right way while meeting their needs is what it’s all about.

The good news is when you find the right balance your dog will likely be more fulfilled, better trained, easier to manage & you’ll have more time on your hands!

Work smarter not harder 🖤
