Christmas was good to GQ Labs...Mya came back with EXCELLENT hips. We founded our breeding program with Nikita and kept back Destiny and Stella to continue our original lines with great success and amazing pups.

We now move into the future where Mya will create "GQ Labs 2.0." We will breed her to Rio next month and my parents will keep a male from the litter that will serve as a replacement for Rio for when he retires. We will keep back 2-3 other female Mya pups along the way over the years to further improve our breeding program.

Attention! Our Waiting List is undergoing a major update. We went from 64 names down to 28 today. There are still some people we are pending confirmation from to verify that they are still looking for a puppy. We have been breeding for almost 5 years now and the list was very outdated. Many families we run into admit to not going on the list because of how long it is, when it's in fact filled with families that either have already found puppies and haven't let us know or just no longer in search of a pup. We are going to keep the list relevant going forward to avoid that. If you were removed and are still interested in being on the list, I have the archived version saved and can place you back in the spot you were originally in. Dates have been added to the list of when we were contacted to be added/stay on the list to better keep track.

Last week Rio attended the 2024 AKC Lab National Specialty Trial. This guy already had 14 AKC titles prior to this. Last week he earned 7 new ribbons and his 15th AKC title for Fetch. He has also been invited to participate in the 2024 NADD National Championship the week of October 28th in Missouri. We are so proud of him!!!

Next year, we will be hyper focussed on planning litters that he sires because they all turn out as amazing as him. We have bred him to Nikita, Destiny, Stella and Ariel so far. We are pending pregnancy results for a second Ariel x Rio litter hopefully due in December and are working to solidify plans to breed him to our stunning girl Mya next year. If you're looking for top quality in a lab, Rio will provide you that pup! Stay tuned...

Red Collar is on her way to her new home. Her name is Meisje, which is Dutch for “girl.” The best news is she will live close to us in Bedford NH and come visit us when we’re at events at American K9 Country. So, we’ll get to she her as she grows up! Not to mention her human Mom is such a kind, wonderful person. So happy Meisje is going to have such a great life. 😊🖤🐾

Make sure to stop by the Amherst Police Association table at the fireworks (June 30th at SHS) and the Fourth of July parade in the village!

Along with having the items for sale, we will have plenty of fun giveaways and activities for kids of all ages.

Puppy take homes have begun. First up today was the Salkin Family going home with Maggie, the precious White Collar girl with a white spot on her chest. Maggie is off to a great home with a loving family. She’s going to be so spoiled!! 🐾🤎
