They prefer to be left alone.

They prefer to be left alone.

We thought this would be great to share: many people re-home their pet reptiles for many different reasons. If it’s necessary; that’s understandable; we know things happen and that’s fine. We do get a lot of calls to surrender due to the owners not being able to give enough time to handle. Well with reptiles; they don’t “require” handling all the time, so it’s perfectly fine to keep your reptile if this is the case. So we wanted to share a screenshot of another bearded dragon expert reiterating that same topic on a comment. This can go for the majority of reptile species.

Would you believe me if I told you all of this was just so I could clean my chicken coop???
With all the chicken research I did NOTHING taught me the importance of protecting yourself from the air and dust in a dirty chicken coop. I learned the hard way but I learned.
This may look like overkill but I assure you, preventative is SO MUCH better than dealing with what comes from breathing the air in a chicken coop.
So, on the first day of 2025 learn this, protective gear is an absolute necessity when owning chickens.

Makes sense.
