Happy Happy Birthday to co-owner Sarah! If any of you are lucky enough to have had Sarah arrange your pet’s move, you know how hard working she is. Sarah is our resident “make sure the stickers on the crate look good”, “just one more photo”, “sure I have time for a quick call … 2 hours later she is still chatting with a client” pet shipper. If you are lucky enough to call her your friend you know that she will help rescue street dogs, spend a hour watering all her house plants, and literally carry her Doodle Reba around in a backpack to make her feel included and comfortable. Simply stated, Sarah is the best! Happy birthday!

Gorgeous gal, Luna, moved from Texas to England with the help of on the customs side. She’s a nervous girl but she did great and other than a minor flight delay, all went smooth. Her parents and human siblings are so glad they can all breathe easy now that she is on ground. We often are told the pets are the most stressful part of the move and we understand. We will do our best to make their day as easy as possible on them and on you as well!

Normally is our resident cat specialist, and she still is. But this year was the year of everything else! She handled ferrets, rabbits, birds (so many birds), rats, cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes (Elaine has two big shepherds of her own and secretly loves a teeny adorable). Elaine’s clients love her attention to detail, her caring personality, and her ability to relate to them because of her own international moving experience as a military brat. I love her because she fits inside most places that most don’t (she’s pocket sized), she’s a fantastic driver, she’s always on time and thus, keeps the business running on time, she is creative, she’s innovative and she’s the best business partner I could ask for! Our business is better because of you, Elaine. Happy Birthday!! ❤️🎉

Merry Christmas from our crazy crew to yours! Whatever Santa did or didn’t bring you this year, we hope you get to spend the day with your loved ones, both 2 and 4 legged, winged, finned, scaled and other. And we honor and celebrate those who don’t have such an easy holiday season because of grief or distance from family and friends like some of our military clients who will no doubt be experiencing their first Christmas away from family. It’s been a busy end of the summer here at Pets with Passports but we couldn’t not post about these two sisters. Meet Cava and Trufa two 17 week old lab puppies Sarah and Elaine picked up in Arkansas, boarded for a few nights in Sarah’s home, took to the vet, and eventually got them on a plane and to their new owner in Mexico. How do you say, “we love them both so much and we miss them and they were so soft and snuggly and man, puppy bellies are the best” in Spanish?

This handsome bat, errr, dog, is Henry. Henry is the best boi! He not only was so fluffy and adorable but he modeled the British Airways check-in process so we could document it for our clients. Is there anything better than a happy reunion photo? Meet Lola who just moved to Angola. She had to get a special import permit from the Angolan Government, work around a very limited flight schedule, and travel in a “hard core” CR82 crate all due to her being a Rottweiler. As you can see she might be the sweetest Rotti that has ever existed and we were so happy to get to play a part in her big move.

This is Beau who is modeling the perfect size crate for British Airways. Beau was our first furry flyer on BA out of Denver after they reversed the summer embargo. Huge thanks to Val for helping negotiate that one so Beau could fly direct ❤️ And in true British fashion, Beau was delivered to his parents at the pub just off the military base. Already getting the feel for local culture. Atta boy Beau! 🍻

This little prancy pants is Zuzu. She was such a petite lil peanut with ears that look like human hair, a very sweet disposition and she smelled delightful. We picked her up from her vet clinic where the staff was nearly in tears to see her go. This lil lady made a big impact ❤️ Zuzu moved to Italy with her military parents. Buona Fortuna ZuZu!

Bear and Rocky just moved to Germany with their military parents from Texas and of course we had a full on photo shoot with them. We move a LOT of GSDs and these two are some of the sweetest we’ve met 😍 And their mama was such a joy to work with! Best of luck in your new home- mama says they’re the best looking dogs on the new block and it’s easy to see why 😍

Happy belated Memorial Day! Just a few weeks ago, co-owner, Sarah, had the pleasure of being the guardian for her dad, a Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veteran, as he embarked on an Honor Flight, to Washington DC. took us and about 100 other WWII, Korean War and Vietnam vets and their guardians, to see the Vietnam Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the WWII Memorial, the Navy, AF and Marine Memorials, and Arlington National Cemetery, all in one day. It was a day to remember and honor the fallen, share stories of good times and bad and to celebrate these men and women as they so rightfully deserve. I could not have been more proud and the 1500+ community members welcoming them home from their final mission felt the same. We appreciate our veteran clients, our active duty clients, our civilian military employee clients, their families, and most of all our veteran fathers, Mr. Bob and Mr. Ron. And we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and our thoughts are with your families today and always. ❤️🇺🇸

Big Boi, handsome kitty! This is Nikki, all 22lbs of him. We requested a bit larger of a crate for his extra curves. Some clients ask what happens if a pet soils their crate or arrives messy. Nikki traveled to Zurich via Amsterdam and you can see his bedding is different upon arrival. They replaced his crate pad with shredded newspaper because he either spilled his water (he liked knocking his bowl around) or he soiled his crate. Either way, the airlines we use do a great job of cleaning up! So he got some shredded newspaper for his second flight, so he could stay dry. Welcome to Switzerland Nikki!
