Alpenglow Harp Studio Classically trained harpist and teacher Erin Newton plays for Boulder, Denver, Front Range, and Rocky Mountain special events. New students are accepted.

Erin freelances for symphonies, weddings and special events throughout the Colorado Rockies. She plays classical, jazz, and popular standards and enjoys arranging special pieces upon request. While she is classically trained, she is inspired by musicians who play music from their hearts. Loreena McKennitt, Dorothy Ashby, Stella Castellucci and Ray Pool are some of her favorites. Beavers, a well known California harpist, arranged many popular pieces for the harp, which inspires Erin today to pursue her own sound. Erin recently played for the Wild Animal Sanctuary fundraisers above live boistrous lions. She performed with Kanye West and a New Zealand dance and opera European tour. She believes we all have our own voice, if we can only listen closely enough to hear it.
