I wanted to let you know I have a praise report on Jake this week. Last Wednesday while walking Jake, I had a seizure and was unconscious. Jake stayed by my side and when a neighbor saw Jake came out to find me. This is their response to me afterwards:
“Kathy!! How are you? I hope you are feeling better. My gf and I were first on the scene the other day. If it wasn’t for your handsome dog trying to wake you up I don’t know if we would have saw you. He did a great job!”
And
Kathy he did an amazing job and allowed us to help you while a stranger held his lead. He was so well behaved and so incredibly happy once he realized you would be ok. You have such an amazing beautiful friend there. Dogs are such a blessing. We are so very thankful we were able to help.”
I just wanted to share that with you and thank you for all the confidence you gave Jake and I the past 7 weeks. We are a much better team now. And not to bring credit to myself, but being able to rely on Jake like that is a real comfort to me and my family.
I have had Epilepsy my whole life and knowing Jake would stay by me even unconscious is amazing. I am truly blessed.
