It's hot! 🌞 And Hudson feels it. If it's really hot or really cold outside we always make sure to use our best, trained judgement to
1. keep the walks shorter if need be 🫶
2. keep our pooches out of the sun as much as possible 🐾
3. provide them with plenty of water. 💦

We just added a new feature!

Through our Silver Hound portal (in which all previous and upcoming visits can be reviewed, invoices paid and pet journals can be read - with pics of your precious pets ;) as our client you will now get a notification once your dog walker or cat sitter has arrived. 🥳
And of course .. as usual, you will receive a pet journal on how the visit went and pictures of your furry loved one(s). 😍

Potential clients come to us sometime, because their previous dog walker or pet sitter came only 5 min instead of the promised 30 min.
You truly get what you pay for.

Just to give some perspective: A dog walker nowadays can't survive on providing dog walks for $20/30 min. Those dog walkers that offer a dog walk for such a low price usually aren't very business savvy or are afraid they won't get any jobs if they price themselves right.

So, dog walkers: Do the math and price yourself right.
And, to all of you who need dog walking or pet sitting services: Hire someone who has a great reputation, who knows their profession and who charges accordingly.

We see this a lot... pet parents searching for a pet sitter or dog walker, but the first comment is: "I'm looking for someone who doesn't charge an arm and a leg..."

When you consider the pet-care experience and specialized training professional pet sitters and dog walkers have and the customized care they provide, these pet-care professionals are worth FAR MORE than they charge.

Of course, you have to work within your budget, but lowest price does not mean the best option—and professional pet-care providers should be fairly compensated.

Remember, you get what you pay for—and your pets deserve quality care!
