Why am I here?
I’ve spent my life working around animals. I have worked at zoos, on farms, with birds, dogs, cats, cows, ducks. I’m a veterinary student and I just love animals, so much so I want to help people understand theirs better. Over the years I’ve worked with dozens of people who love animals even more than I do and have had the privilege to learn and observe I’ve trained dogs since I was a teenager and in college when I had time between classes. It’s been a life long love of mine and now I’ve created High Desert Dog Training as a means to learn more and help others learn alongside me. My focus is on teaching you to understand better your dog. You wouldn’t fix a car without understanding how it works so why would you try to fix a dog without understanding how they work? Let’s fill in that information. I firmly believe Communication is key to learning and growing together, and it will feed into creating life long habits that will better not only your pup but also yourself. It’s my goal to establish a connection that will benefit everyone for a lifetime.
