Busy week ! Had our usual bffs and Shelby and Andy stepped up to help with our holiday weekend clients and provided top notch care for our girls while we attended the Indy 500.
We do have summer availability remaining. Don’t forget to request your visits as soon as your vacation plans are set!
We do also have room for one other M-F lunch time potty break.
Much love and belly rubs to your pets and we’ll see them soon!

If you’re a cat owner that asks for every other day visits, please take a moment to read this.

This is a good example of why professional pet sitters turn down your requests.

This is my buddy Cleo’s house.

Cleo and I recently spent a week together.
Toward the end of the week, I walked into Cleo’s fountain (her only water source) on its side with the motor still running.
Cleo decided to tip it over sometime during the evening or night when I wasn’t there.
Thank goodness I came early the next morning and refilled it right away.
But just think if I was doing every other day visits.
That motor would have been running for over 24 hours and she wouldn’t have anything to drink.

Even if you don’t use a fountain, if your cat is spunky like Cleo or bumps the water bowl by accident , it could sit empty for a long time.

Just some food for thought.

Thank you Cleo for letting me show Facebook why we insist on EVERY DAY cat visits.

I still love you but please don’t do this again 🥲

Spring has finally sprung!
Just checking in.
We’ve had a great few weeks with some new friends and our ol’ reliables.
Miss Ava has been doing an excellent job learning the ropes.
We are working through the summer calendar and getting everyone’s time off and your visits coordinated.

5/24-5/26 Indy 500 weekend !!!
(No more visits accepted at this time)
7/5-7/7 Mid Ohio Indy weekend

Beginning one of our busiest week’s of the year so far! Happy to meet some new friends.

AT CAPACITY -
what had originally started as a very quiet spring break session has now been completely filled with some regular and new clients from 3/22 - 3/28.
Nat is not traveling just yet so fortunately he's available and Shelby and Andy will be helping out as well.
Dog home visits will get priority in arrival times especially in the mornings but we'll be stopping to visit lots of feline friends as well.
I'll have more confidence in finalizing summer bookings next month after my latest round of scans but our team has been providing great support and coverage for any accepted bookings.

Hey there everyone !!!!
Just checking in, I’m actually at the beach for some much needed r&r. Thank goodness for our great team Nat, Shelby, Andy, and Reese for taking care of our girls and the daily visits during this time.
My surgery went well, first check was great and I will be back for additional monitoring in 3 months time. This does make it challenging for long term planning of vacation visits.

Our team is awesome but they do have other work obligations so it can be difficult to approve midday vacation visits in our current situation. We have also taken on 2 lunch time clients so this could pose some scheduling challenges. Cat visits will be easiest to schedule but 3 a days for pups are a little more tricky.
I apologize if we are unavailable or tentative with reservation requests at this time.
As always submit your requests as you lock in your travel plans and we will do our best to accommodate while maintaining great service for our dailies.
Pet your babies from us and we will see them soon!

Another story for why we insist on every day or twice daily cat visits for our clients.
This fella is outdoor kitty who comes into the garage for nights for his safety. Wondered why he didn’t bolt out the door in the morning like usual. Thought he was just being shy, came back and he was still in the bed. My senses told me something was wrong and he was a proper gentleman while I released his claw from the bed. Imagine him being stuck there for 24 hours or more 😭

We do once a day visits for most and twice a day for our insulin kitties.
We want to keep them safe and socialized ! 🐾❤️🐾❤️

🐱December is Cat Lover’s Month—and here’s an important cat-care tip to keep in mind:

•Cats need daily pet-sitting visits also (no “every other day visits”)!•

Anything can happen when pets are left alone—and cats are no exception. From potentially lethal ailments like the urethral blockage to potential home damages from a cat accidentally loosening a water hose behind a washing machine, not checking on a cat daily while the pet parent is away can have costly—or tragic—consequences for the cat—and your business.

👉Pet-care professionals, it’s important you not let yourself feel pressured to accommodate a request for every-other-day visits for cats. Simply let clients know the request is not aligned with your standard of care.

👉Pet parents, it’s important to understand that even if you “leave extra food and water,” your cat still needs to be checked on at least once per day.

LAST QUARTER UPDATES
Hello Humans!

Hope you're having a great start to your fall season.

Thanks for being flexible and understanding while I went through surgery and through my continued recovery. I have returned to some back yard potty breaks and will continue adding on as I am able to. Nat, Shelby and Reese have been doing a great job with visits. The feedback has been wonderful!

We have received very few requests for the Thanksgiving holiday this year, so made the decision for our family to travel if I am feeling up to it. We have some services already scheduled and those services are still confirmed. Any new reservations will be approved if staffing allows.

We will be home for Christmas. I would definitely recommend submitting any requests from now until the end of the year as soon as possible so we can coordinate client and staff schedules as far in advance as possible.
