The Cat Ambassador is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping cats...and their people. and their people.
(5)
Founded in 2013, The Cat Ambassador, Inc., provides assistance to cats . . . One of our main objectives is to reduce the number of cats entering an already overburdened shelter system. The Cat Ambassador strongly advocates spay/neuter (may include Trap-Neuter-Return) to prevent pet overpopulation, as well as microchipping to increase the chances that lost cats will be reunited with their owners—in
stead of entering the shelter system as “strays.”
Specific services include:
Providing financial assistance to pet owners for cat food, litter, and veterinary care (including vaccinations and spay/neuter), and microchipping
Educating pet owners about feline health and behavior issues, and the general public about animal welfare, to help prevent neglect and cruelty
Working with cats and their people to resolve “thinking outside the litter box” issues
Helping to find lost cats and reunite found cats with their owners
Providing assistance with stray/feral cats; may include TNR (trap-neuter-return)
Making referrals to rescue groups and animal shelters if a cat must be surrendered due to unavoidable circumstances (a person’s death, ill health, or allergies)
Collaborating with local animal shelters and rescue groups to ensure the well-being of as many cats as possible
Promoting cats as great pets, and encouraging adoption from shelters and rescue groups

Please spread the word for this lost cat. Meg was LOST on July 2, 2024 in East Lansing, MI 48823 near Austin Way and Park Lake
Message from Owner: Two months ago Meg’s best friend Henry which was heart breaking for us both. We were just getting over our loss. Part of that was moving into our new . Meg has been an indoor cat all her life. The day I brought her to be Henry’s friend she hid for three days, very frightened. The day of our big move she hid in the bat. In the evening I settled into bed, she came out from hiding to sleep with me. The next morning she was not with me. I figured she was settling in and exploring, which made me happy. The movers required two days so they arrived and they were in and out the front door. Everyone reassured me she was hiding in the bat. That was almost a week ago. To be possibly losing Meg after just losing Henry was heart breaking. I’ve been saying prayers to Saint Anthony that he will guide her .
Description: Meg is a calico cat. She is white with black and tan patterns on her. She has a tan one on her chin and green eyes. She has matted hair on her back and is big. She’s very scared indoor cat never been outdoors. She has a pink collar tagged and is chipped.

My Bella is feeling better! She asked to “go fishing” today. She goes to my office and cries very loudly (she’s deaf) when she wants to go fishing. 🥰 She was at the emergency vet and her regular vet last week with a severe UTI. A few days of antibiotics and pain meds and she’s much better. 😺
Jazz and MoeJoe sharing a snack this morning. MoeJoe is so happy that his best buddy is back home! (Jazz was missing for almost two days; found him in my backyard late last night.) 🥰
Lansing, Mich. area Today is the last day of National Pet Adoption Week 2023. And these two sweet, bonded kitties are still waiting for their forever home. Rye and Winston were part of a TNR project where we trapped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped 15 cats and kittens! Out of those 17, 8 were deemed friendly and adoptable, and all have found their forever homes--except for Rye and WInston. They are about 9 months old, fully vetted and negative for FIV/FeLV. They love kids and are great with other cats. They like to sleep on the bed with their people. 🥰 Special adoption fee for National Pet Adoption Week is only $75 for both kitties! Please contact [email protected] for an adoption application, or to set up a time to come meet Rye and Winston. If you can't adopt, please donate to The Cat Ambassador to help us carry out our mission. Lansing, Michigan We need fosters! We need volunteers! We need funds! We get calls daily for help. But we have to say no. This call just came in. Need help for two kittens. “Found in a heavy machine shop, the light grey one isn’t eating or drinking and wont really move. Eating hard food and know how to use a litter box. Very playful.” This sick kitty needs to see a vet today. But since it’s Saturday, that would mean a trip to the emergency vet. We don’t have the funds to do that…
