Rachel (and Monica) have been in foster care for MONTHS and will more than likely be here for many more to come without any interest in adopting them! Both are incredibly sweet, chatty, playful, love to snuggle and so beautiful, but they are black cats and those are always last to be picked!

TJ is so much fun to work with. We are practicing recall, a super important command for every dog to learn. Wait to the end when he hears his name called to come inside.

It only took an hour for these three littles to settle down on our consult. Bear and Millie are newer to this family, and we will be working together to make them the best balanced pups they can be. I am sooo grateful to those that foster, and adopt from rescues!

TJ is picking up his leash-work skills beautifully! This was our second outside session, and no dragging mom down the street, no barking or lunging, just focusing, and with manners. Awesome job TJ and mom!

Meet Cecilia from Animalluvr's Dream Rescue in Tampa, Florida. One of our closest friends and someone who has helped animals far and wide when no one else would. Animal rescue is more than animals. It is the PEOPLE who help the animals in need. We all have to remember that. And thank them for a never ending job.

Founded in 2012 by Cecilia Nieves, AnimalLuvrs Dream Rescue was designed to help those animals that were in need of medical attention while searching for their furever homes.

With her extensive background in veterinary medicine and animal care, Cecilia was determined to help as many animals as she could that required a wide range medical treatment. Over the years ALDR has grown into a large family of volunteers who share Cecilia’s passion for rescue and have come together through fostering, fundraising, transportation for appointments, and so much more.

“AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue has a mission to rescue and care for dogs and cats that are critically ill and/or injured. Many of these animals are strays, abandoned, abused, or neglected. These animals would otherwise be euthanized due to lack of owners, funding or space. We are dedicated in providing the medical care, socialization and training needed to place them into responsible and caring permanent homes. We also place a great deal of emphasis on educating the public about the pet overpopulation crisis, the importance of spaying/neutering and responsible pet ownership.”

Bleau is 11 months old and has been awesome with outside commands and leash work! Inside the home, he is crazy. We have worked on counter surfing, but Bleau getting his owner's attention in any way he can seems more important. We set him up and even brought his sister in, and we left the room, and nothing happened! All of his favorite things were on the edge and no attempt! There is no E collar-zap, no vibration.

Poor Sierra has had three meet and greets no show…while we understand this may be for the better but really frustrating for us who spend time coordinating 💔

Sierra is a 10 month old Bassett/Bully mix who is literally the most young, happy girl! She is good with other dogs and loves all people. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She’s such an adorable little lowrider 💖

What a sad Sunday for sweet Julia. We had a promising application for her but it seems they changed their minds.

Julia is ready to go home! This sweet girl is about 10 weeks old and a mixed breed puppy. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She’s a typical puppy so will need continued training and socialization.

I'm going to try these. Hope Helena likes them, she is a picky eater for such a young pup.

🐶 Spinach Oatmeal Biscuits for Dogs 🌱🍪
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rolled oats 🌾
- 1 cup of whole wheat flour 🌾 (you can use oat flour or another flour if your dog has wheat allergies)
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped fresh spinach 🌱
- 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce 🍏 or mashed banana 🍌
- 1/4 cup of natural peanut butter 🥜 (make sure it does not contain xylitol)
- 1 egg 🥚
- 1/4 cup of water (as needed for consistency)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, and finely chopped spinach.
3. Add the wet ingredients: Add the unsweetened applesauce or mashed banana, natural peanut butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. The dough should be thick but pliable. If it's too dry, add a little water, a tablespoon at a time, until the dough reaches the desired consistency.
4. Shape the biscuits: Scoop out small portions of dough and roll them into balls. Flatten each ball with your hand or a fork to form biscuit shapes. You can also use cookie cutters to create fun shapes.
5. Bake: Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch.
6. Cool: Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your dog.
Storage:
Store the spinach oatmeal biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze them for longer storage.
Enjoy making these nutritious and healthy treats for your furry friend! 🐾

I love this guy! Kuro is 9 yrs old. We worked together years ago, so I have followed him throughout his life. Without making this a book, years ago he was horrifically attacked by 3 stray dogs. Kuro is that happy... love everyone kind of dog, until recently. He is in a new neighborhood, and he is now nervouse looking over his shoulder when he goes outside, and he has every right to be. We're working on building his self confidence.
