To our clients: we realized recently we have an email issue (for possibly a long time), where occasionally some important emails from clients were ending up in a spam folder on a webmail server that was not being checked. If we failed to respond to your email in the past, please know that it was not intentional. We try to respond in a timely fashion to everyone. If you do not hear back from us within a reasonable time frame, please be sure to call us or forward your email to [email protected]. Thank you!

Wishing you and your family a happy & peaceful Thanksgiving

In the early 1900s, wild turkeys were nearly extinct. Thanks to conservation efforts, their population count today is approximately 6.5 million, with ranges expanding in many areas. Next time you spot a wild turkey, remember this amazing rebound!

It's amazing so many birds migrate at night. Lights out for the birds.

Migration Alert! Tonight thru Saturday, expect over 300 MILLION birds to be in the air each night, guided by the moon and stars. Sadly, bright lights can confuse and disorient them, leading to collisions with buildings and windows. It's time for us to step up and make a difference! Turn off non-essential lighting at night. You can make glass safer for birds by day, too with simple window treatments. . Learn more here: https://birdcast.info/science-to-action/lights-out/

Here's our Top 4 Lights Out tips:
1. Turn off unnecessary outdoor lights: Every light that's not needed can be switched off to create a more natural, darker environment for these travelers.
2. Use motion sensors or timers: If you need outdoor lighting for safety, try motion sensors or timers to ensure lights are on only when needed.
3. Close curtains and blinds to prevent indoor light from spilling outside.
4. Spread the word: Share this message with your friends and, neighbors. The more people who know, the bigger our impact!

Good morning from Pumpkin🌞

Pumpkin doesn't mind getting weighed, because we keep that scale right on our kitchen table, and she uses it as a perch throughout the day!

It's a great idea to weigh your small pets regularly and record their weight (in grams or kgs depending on their size) so that you can monitor for changes. Pick a similar time each day to weigh them. For example, you can weigh them in the morning before your pet has a big breakfast, as (diurnal) animals tend to gain weight over the course of the day as they eat.
