This one breaks our hearts. Mud is one of the first dogs we ever rescued and personally fostered. 4 years ago this month we saved him and adopted him out. Only to be failed and returned…. Our heartbreak is minimal to Muds after being kicked out of his home after 4 years.

Here is his story and situation:
🐶Hey guys - my name is Mud and apparently I need a new home asap and can’t live here any longer. For the first few years of my life I was loved on and taken everywhere. I was well socialized and cared for. And I get it … hoomans have hooman babies and 2 years ago that’s when they stopped caring as much for me because their life changed. I got less and less socialization with people and less and less attention. So if I acted up it wasn’t addressed or corrected. I was never taken to training or helped with my adjusting as well… 2 more years went on and apparently I have bitten my hooman brother a few times and I can’t live here anymore. I’m just a dog. Like all dogs I need guidance and someone who cares for me… enough that after 4 years would have tried to help me so I could stay with the only family I’ve ever known. I’ve been with them from 8 weeks old…. Now I’m 4 and I don’t know if anyone will want me?

Here are things about me:
I love laying around the house
Blankets are my favorite thing - I curl up in them as often as possible (I like to play hide and seek while I’m covered in my blankies)
I LOVE all the pets
I’m not a fan of chicken - it kinda upsets my tummy
I love running around the yard
I LOVE watching animal planet or any animal movie / documentary
I know all of my basic commands
I’m a Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix
Great with other dogs
No small children

I’m currently located in Bel Air MD and need a new home or foster asap. Can you give me the love I deserve?

Any of our Maryland friends able to foster for about 4 weeks? These babies are brother and sister and have never been separated. Their momma is moving but will be without housing (hotel) until she settles on her new home. Unfortunately they can not stay there. They are lazy love bugs who are both house trained and need a home until their momma can take them back.

Hey guys. My name is Bella and I’m a 9 month old lab mix. I was adopted back in July to a family who loved me so much. Sadly they had to return me (no fault of my own). They cried as they walked me in. I cried as they drove away. I was brought back here and now i sit and wait. I thought I would never be at another adoption event. I thought I had my furever home. I’m here with all of the puppies… they are getting adopted, kissed, and cuddled while people just pass me by. Is it because I’m quite? Or becuase im not a tiny puppy anymore? I’m the best girl in the world. Will someone please love me. Will someone please come adopt me.

Hey guys my name is Teddy and I’m in need of immediate foster - i was adopted in February of 2020. I have had the most amazing life with my dad but sadly he must re home me due to medical reasons. I’m heartbroken and so is my dad. Here is a little about me.

I am a 5 year old Great Pyrenees/ Husky mix and weigh 110 lbs.
i am the most loyal, lovable, and cuddly boy in the whole entire world.
I love other dogs big or small
I am crate trained but if left out of crate I tend to find a place to mark. I am a very smart boy so if you take the time to train me on that I will learn fast.
Very calm and good with kids
I have not been cat tested.

Hey guys - my name is Otto and I’m currently on my way to Maryland in search of my furever home. I’m coming with a bunch of friends in search of a better life. We are asking that you guys can help us find families who will finally love us. I heard them say we will be arriving Friday afternoon at the Petsmart in Abingdon, MD.

So many of us had found loving homes last year. We thought we were safe forever. We loved being home with our families every day. But then all of a sudden they went back to work and said they didn’t have time for us anymore. Some of us were taken back to shelters… some of us were dumped on the streets. We were heartbroken. Spay and neuter clinics were closed last year and with people dumping us it caused more problems than ever before. Shelters are at 140% capacity. We didn’t do anything wrong and hope now up north we will never go through this again.

Helping us helps all of the other dogs too. If it’s not adopting us that helps it’s volunteering and fostering. Your time and or home helps save countless lives. I will be there to meet you and hope I will find someone to love me that way I love all hoomans.

We want to give a big thank you to everyone who donated to Bean’s training to correct his behavioral issues. We wanted to share that he has completed his training and is now back with at his fosters home. He has shown significant progress so far but his foster will be monitoring him closely for any regressive behavioral issues. Due to these concerns, we are going to hold off on proceeding with any of the adoption applications we’ve received for him at this time. We will keep everyone updated on the little beanie butt!

I know I look like a regular black dog but I promise you, my personality makes me quite special! I love sleeping in the bed, hanging out with other dogs, and I love to play with my toys. I will follow you wherever you go and make you laugh at the funny faces I like to make. I’m super sweet and love everyone. I was neglected before the rescue saved me so I have some anxiety when left alone, but I’m working hard in training to be more relaxed and starting to understand that I won’t be abandoned again. I want to be the perfect dog. I want a family that will take care of me, as I would take care of them and make them happy. The ladies here at the rescue say I need a home with a 6ft fence. I can’t help but jump over smaller fences to go give the neighbors some kisses! If you want to adopt me, the website is posted below so you can complete an application for me. George also known as Neo is a super sweet big boy full of love. He is a pit mix, loves people and female dogs. He does great with all female dogs especially older ones. He does have separation anxiety, so he does need a home that is willing to work with him and help him adjust to their schedule. He is currently being crate trained to help him get ready for his new and forever home. Other than him having some anxiety due to his previous life of neglect, he is an amazing dog that wants nothing more than to please his owners.
