We are truly sad to post this update on sweet Oscar. He crossed the rainbow bridge today, in peace. His little body was fighting an infection, his kidneys were not working right and he was an old dude. We are extremely grateful that we got to know him and offer him comfort and love. We have contacted in Heaven so that he can be cremated. He will always have a place in our hearts ❤️❤️❤️🐶❤️❤️❤️😭

Today’s menu was ground turkey and broth. So far, his favorite. We are still waiting on meds for kidneys but antibiotics seem to be working fine.
We know a lot of people are interested in little Oscar. If you want to provide fospice for him, you will have to keep us constantly updated. He is a happy and grumpy little one, but he is adorable and perfect ❤️❤️
If interested please message us. We will ask you to complete a foster contract. No adoption fee but the commitment is to keep us updated.

Oscar is eating on his own!! Yay! He eats very little canned food, with some ground turkey and broth. Today he was very interested in kibble, so we added a few, soaked of course. This makes us extremely happy! ❤️🐶❤️
Test resuults indicate a strong infection and kidney damage, so he will start treatment immediately. ❤️🐶 🐾 ❤️ 🐾

Oscar pupdate: he had to have one rotten tooth removed at the vet and we are still waiting on blood tests. X-rays show that his lower jaw is damaged (due to age) and that he is about 17 years old or so. Right now he is not eating on his own so he is getting bottle fed and syringe fed. Yes, we do have chicken and ground turkey ready for him, but so far he hasn’t shown any interest. All he really wants to do is sleep ❤️🐶❤️

We want to welcome little Oscar the Grouch. This truly old gentleman has one tooth, and it’s in really bad shape. His lower jaw looks bad and he’s super skinny. Tomorrow he will be going to the vet, getting blood work and 4dx testing and all that jazz. He is not available for adoption.

This little baby girl was found inside a vacant lot next to a business in Juarez. She is young, maybe a year old, and she had just gone into heat. Her name is Güera. She has received her shots, chip and is now spayed. She gets along well with other small dogs, but she’s still a bit shy towards humans (getting a lot better!). Once she trusts you, she becomes your shadow. She is active, super sweet and playful.
She needs a home with a playmate (up to date on shots, chipped and spayed/neutered) or two, children older than 8 and lots of love 💕.
If you are interested, please send us a message. We process applications in the order in which we receive them, and once we match her with the best one, we will schedule a meet and greet.

On Saturdays we would like to celebrate SENIORS, so we call them Seniors Saturday. Seniors in rescue are becoming quite common, sadly. Seniors just want a soft place to lay, and someone to give them love, which they will most certainly pay back double.
Right now we have a few seniors in foster, and we are looking for fospice, a home to spend the rest of their days in comfort.
