First snow of the year, calls for a new beer. ❄️

PASS THE CRANBERRY SAUCE SOUR ALE (5.9%) is back on tap, starting today at 4pm.

Our delectable annual sour release is brewed with cranberries and local honey from IKenBee Honey Bees. It will be available in cans soon as well.

And keep an eye out for our whole Thanksgiving beer drop — four beers this year! — available on tap and in 4-packs AND new this year: single cans!

This is a w**d that has been growing through our rhododendron right in front of a window.
It has little purple flowers that the honeybees are on every morning.

Early in the season for a honeybee rescue!!
Honeybees found inside a tree stump when a contractor took a storm damaged tree down in Denville NJ.
Today was just warm enough to transfer them to a hive and off they go to our apiary.
Queen was found on the second block of comb removed—that was pure luck!!!

Happy Beekeeping out there. The season is almost here.

The Geminid meteor shower is expected to be at its best Wednesday night, Dec. 13, through early Thursday morning, Dec. 14, but it will remain active through Christmas Eve.

We have taken saving the planet into our own hands--one honey bee at a time. Our goal is to increase the awareness and importance of honey bees.

Honey and Beekeeping Supplies will also be available for sale.

Raising honey bees is such an awesome experience! Using the latest trends and time proven techniques for our 8 and 10 frame Langstroth style hives-we are giving the honey bees a greater chance of survival out there.

Our RAW LOCAL HONEY - DIRECTLY FROM OUR OWN HIVES will be available at harvest time (mid July usually). We will post a message when the honey is ready. It goes quickly because I ask each bee individually to seek out only the best nectar for our premium honey!!!
