Doggie class Saturday Dec. 14 at 11 am. “Enrichment and sniff games to drain your dog’s excessive energy. Ways to keep your dog occupied (and tied) that don’t require any $$ and only a few minutes of your time”.

Holidays are actually stressful time for dogs. Their humans are busy getting ready for the festivities, normal daily routines are disrupted, new things (Christmas tree) and visitors are invading their space….🤔😒😖
The best ways to ease the dogs’ mind is to keep them occupied and tired. I am not talking about daily two hours hike (it is lovely but who has extra 2 hours to give to the dog every day?).

I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble but dogs aren’t pack animals. They’re still social animals but not pack animals anymore…

Many dogs would prefer being “only dogs” and many other dogs definitely need to have a buddy. It really depends on the individual dog.

Next time you want to get another dog, ask whether your dog really wants a friend.
