Show Day at Centennial Acres in Holland. Paxton and Pip proved themselves in the water and mud today bringing home a 1st place and 2 2nd places in Introductory level for Reserve Champion today!

All lessons are cancelled for today while we asses the safety of the property and do some cleanup after the storm. We are good, no major damage we have found but some trees and limbs down. Power is out but backup generators are up. All horses are good and we should be able to get them all turned out.

It’s been a hot week! Just wanted to remind our friends to drink water and stay hydrated. Bring water containers and keep them filled and close at hand. The water from the sinks in the tack room comes from the same well as our home and passes through the same conditioning system, so is perfectly drinkable and cold when you need to refresh!

We welcomed Eddie to the WD family this weekend! Eddie’s owner has been taking lessons with us for a while and decided it was time to move him closer to home.

We had our first “customers” in the new wash rack today! Pip was #1 after a lesson with Brooklyn and pictured here is Izzo. A few others were introduced and received rinse downs, it was a hot one!

Hello Friends!
We wanted to let you know of a couple changes we are making to the lesson program.

Going forward we will ask for a minimum weekly lesson commitment. We will no longer offer bi-weekly lessons.

We are also putting an indefinite pause on weekend lessons.

Thank you so much for your understanding and support!

If you or someone you know is interested in lessons or boarding we have limited availability but don’t hesitate to reach out or ask for a farm visit.

We have completed building our new wash rack! Spacious double bay with graded slab for water run off and swiveling center mounted auto retracting hose reel. We have a few ideas to add on yet for outdoor grooming and tacking as well. Bring on summer! ☀️💦🐴
